Altınköy Hotel didn't work with any tour operator till 2003.Hotel is boutique and comfortable...Suit apartments-dublex and flat apartments and villa all of them are wonderfull and white. Air-condition, tv-satellite,kitchen,kettle, etc. standarts in apartments and suits have washing machine, villa are full+full.(microwawe-oven-dish washer-washing machine,toast m. etc.....A new English style restaurant Aubergine is wonderful too..Hotel owners are young and friendly people..Sun-Sea,pool...Everything.Really wonderful Holiday İn Altınköy Hotel.I want to thank the owners and the stuff for their kindless and hospitality...If you want to see ıt also have a web site: www.altinkoyhotel.com

We booked the stay as a self catering holiday it wasnt the cheapest but we liked the idea of sitting on our veranda by the pool. We were told that the only drinks we were allowed on our patio was drinks brought from the bar! I have never come across this ever and felt the tour company and owner of the complex misled customers in their description of the property. There were also extortionate charges for having a fan operating in the room. There was also evidence that personal property had been searched (suitcases checked for hidden fans) on return to the room. I also am an early riser and on going downstairs found the owner peering through the kitchen window checking the property. They also were not keen on you using the self catering cooking facilities but that was the whole reason for booking having the freedom to prepare light meals. They were only happy when you were purchasing from their snack menu (all pre prepared frozen) or their bar. They should have changed the category to bed and breakfast so as not to mislead customers.

The rep from Manos was completely useless and at the welcome meeting went through the various rules and charges for having electrical items £3.00 per day for a fan. When all other self catering in the area had air conditioning FOC! The reps words were " I dont know how they find out you have a fan but they do". My parents had a fan but when told the charge they did not use it but were still charged. They were rude and unhelpful. tI will never use Manos as long as I live and would never never stay with such an unfriendly money grabbing lot again.

I advise you to check carefully on the rules if you want to stay there on a self catering basis.
