“Amazing hotel (genuine review)”

My girlfriend and I stayed at Monta Verde in August 2011 for 1 week, neither of us had been to Turkey before but we had a fantastic week there. The staff were extremeley friendly ,rooms were simple but very clean and had everything we needed, the pool area and hotel grounds were brilliant, the food was very cheap and very good. This resort is suitable for both couples and families and we are hoping to go back next year with our daughters. The resort is in a perfect location as there are regular buses to all resorts including olu deniz, fetityhe and hisaronu which cost literally a couple of quid return. All in all we had a fantastic holiday which included a marriage proposal to my girlfriend and we hope to return next year to see Barkin and Eqe ! Tigerssssssssss

“Above And Beyond”

My boyfriend and I stayed here in the middle of october this year based on the good reviews on this site.

We were not disappointed, none of the reviews do this hotel enough justice. We arrived late evening and were greeted with a warm welcome and they rush to help you with your bags and carry them to your room for you, already introducing themselves and building a rapport with you.

The rooms were on the small side but ideal if you only need somewhere to sleep and they were modern in design and immaculately clean.
The hotel itself was clean as whistle and the food was amazing, different hot dishes each night and a wide selection of cold options and sides and all of it was amazing. My boyfriend would quite often have 3-4 servings of food each night because it was all so delicious.
Nothing was too much for the hotel staff, they try to help in everyway they can and are approachable if you need advice on where to go. Only advice I would say, is if you're sending postcards to family and friends back home, don't give them to reception to send as we they said they would post our 8 postcards and 4weeks on not a single person has received their cards, yet cards from friends in cyprus have arrived. So have a feeling our postcards got forgotten about and never got sent!
Pool is cleaned daily and there really is NOTHING I can fault on this hotel, would stay here again if we returned to the area. Ideally located and the locals are so friendly and make you feel welcome everywhere you go.

The hotel is ideally located on the main road to Hisarano and Olu Deniz and there are dolmuses (look like mini buses) that run every 3-5mins and you just flag them down anywhere along the road and it's very reasonably priced. It is a 5 min drive to Hisarano (party town) which is full of restaurants to cater for all tastes and bars/clubs. Then a further 10mins to carry onto Olu Deniz, which has an amazing beach surrounded by picturesque mountains and beach front restaurants. If you follow the path round to the right you will come to the blue lagoon which is 4,50TL pp to enter and is worth every penny. We didn't pay for sun loungers as the towel on the fine stones was perfectly fine. However if you go to either beaches I would definitely recommend beach shoes as the beach and sea bed can be quite rocky and uncomfortable on the soles of the feet.

Just as a side-note, anyone who visits the area should definitely try paragliding from Olu Deniz beach, it's not as scary as people say it's more peaceful than anything and the bus ride up is definitely worse than the actual activity itself. I would also highly recomment Skysports who I did it with! (but that's another review I have to do)

Highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Have a good holiday

“You get what you pay for”

My husband and I stayed at the Monta Verde in September this year. We booked it as a last minute deal and were overall quite pleased. The rooms were rather small but we were able to unpack everything easily as storage space was ample. The bathroom was somewhat tired but surprisingly the shower, although looking rough, was pretty good! The balcony was another thing! Small does not begin to describe it. Only 1 chair on it but there again it would have been difficult for 2 to fit on it. We went half board and the food was OK but to be honest by the end of the 2nd week we were fed up with it, it all being rather the same. The pools were nice, particularly the main pool but they were too cold. One complaint we had was that the music around the pool tended to get turned up too loud when the Egy and the bar manager were working but luckily Teresa was there most of the time and she was more aware of the noise so tried to keep it in check. Teresa was wonderful and very efficient but we often found that Egy and the bar manager were more inclined to treat the bar as their personal playground rather than as a job so when they were in charge it all got a bit slapdash and messy...clearing up dirty glasses did not seem to be very high on their agenda.

Overall it was a good holiday and a good place to stay. It was a very cheap holiday and to that end worth the money, however I would not have wanted to pay any more than I did for it.

On a final note...........................could someone shoot the cockerill that lived across the road as it has no concept of time and crows all through the night, particularly trying to outdo the mosque when that calls people to prayer!

Room Tip: Try and avoid the rooms overlooking the road. These have the smallest balconies and the dubious ben...

Me and my family stayed at Montaverde in october for a week.i can honestly say i ve never been anywhere as friendly as this.we were threated like a family.it was very quiet in october but barken and egy made us so welcome. They were so friendly to us.My family loved to be with them.my daughter still want to be at montaverde. We usually travel different places everyyear but i think we will go back to montaverde again next year.
Location was good for us.its not middle of hisaronu which is too busy for us.and not too far away from it.
we have booked a family hotle room but they gave us a choice to stay at villa.and we picked villas and they were quiet big for us.
this is the place that you woudnt be regret to go.and i would like to give special thank to barken to be with us from check in till the waving hand.

Room Tip: villas have been a pleasure to us.
