“A Secret Garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2010

We came to Mandarin Hotel, for our Honeymoon occasion and stayed for 9 days. The room we stayed was really stunning; with huge jakuzi, wooden furniture, a huge relax bed, a lovely scenery from the terrace..
The interior design, garden plan and set up, pool area, the trees, flowers etc, created a secret and decent place for us in Oludeniz.
The service quality, food, lovely attitude of people, fire place, pretty dog Pasha all in combination, made our stay colorful.
We made long walking in the village, inside the forest to the seaside etc.
If you want to make a holiday, relax, in piece and happiness, we highly recommend this hotel for you..

“good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2010

It is a decent hotel with good serivce.
I am not sure whether I would stay there again, but anyway I had a good time there. I do recommend it to other travellers.
The location was perfect for me. Sleep quality could have been better, but I was so tired that it was ok. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. Fine selection but poor quality.

“Piece of Paradise!”

I stayed at The Mandarin Boutique Hotel for 4 nights with my boyfriend. Let me tell you, the hotel exceeded my wildest expectations! The room was lovely with a big Jacuzzi tub (romantic!), flat screen TV, and DVD player. There was a hair dryer in our room which was very convenient since I came from the US, so I did not have to worry about a converter. There was also a large size shampoo and body wash in the shower so you do not have to worry about taking travel size items. We had a balcony with view of the Mediterranean!

Breakfast was so good. They start out by serving olives, cheese, bread, jam, tomatoes, cucumbers, mild peppers, and then a main egg dish. They also have tea time and they always serve real sugar cubes! The five course dinner is at 8 PM. Perfect time to watch the beautiful sun set! The food is excellent and is nicely presented.

The pool is very classy. Comfortable lounging beds and beautiful mountain views. There was also a lady that came to the hotel to tell us about excursions. The bus is right outside the hotel and it doesn’t take long to get to Oludeniz. We went paragliding and took an all day boat trip. I had so much fun and I recommend it to all couples. It is very romantic and relaxing. I hope everyone gets a chance to visit this piece of paradise!

“Not for everyone JUST FOR THE LIKE OF US”

It was in my mind to write about this little boutique hotel and after 7 months I just got the time.Maybe is a wishful thinking that I would like to be there, but we did enjoy not only the luxuries of the Mandarin, but the beautiful wild nature that can be found in the surrounding area, the lovely descent to the butterfly valley(not for everyone), the 100s of different species of butterflies.

I read somewhere that during the ancient time Rhodes island which can be seen in a clear day was joint to this part of Turkey and that in Rhodes also inland there is a Butterfly Valley which the same species can be found only in these two places..
During my next visit will do a day trip from Fethiye on the hydrofoil to check on this.

The wild flowers that can be seen everywhere, form a big carpet, many wild tulips and many more species which you will encounter during the lovely walks, are a delight for the flower enthousiast, beautiful scented pine trees, sage plants, wild oreganos several different species of them and many herb teas..

The beautiful sites of Cadianda and Caunos near Dalyan and the lake of Koycegiz, th stunning beach of Patara if the sea was not there you will think you are in the Sahara big sand dunes and so that I can give the chance to other guess to do so..

But I can not go by without thanking the lovely Nese, the sophisticated cook Bilge, Arife who kept the rooms spotless and of course Pasha without him the place will be nothing,he is really sad to see people going and loves playing and knows not to touch or beg for some food..and of course the lovely Aysegul who is running the show and always looks that everything is in symetrical order..

I know I have not mentioned about the place but pictures on the website and others comments is anough to wet your appetite.
Will be back..soon this time for longer..
