“DO THEY THINK WE ARE FOOLS ????”

Arrived late at night after travelling all day from Istanbul and the guy at front counter checked us in to our room under an all night party room we had 2 single beds. We questioned the 2 single beds and where advised this is the only room we have available. We went back to reception where the goofball had the nerve to say: YOU SEE YOU ONLY SAID YOUR ON HONEYMOON BUT DIDNT ASK FOR A DOUBLE BED THATS WHY YOU GET 2 SINGLE BEDS...
We are then told off the next day for bringing a few bottles of water back to our room as your not alowed to bring anything from outside. You have to get ripped off and pay 5 times the price from the hotel for a small 250ml water instewad of 2 litres from the shop. "REASON" For health reasons by the management... WIFI doesnt work in all rooms so dont assume, only common areas by the pool... Nothing but attitued and crap service!!! NO way dont even think about it. Oh one other thing! No hot water early in morning so if you have an early flight and want to shower the hot water doesnt switch on until the morning then needs to heat up.

Room Tip: Choose a good room by not even staying there.

“we loved our time here :) it was perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

Okay, me and my best friend stayed here last summer in June 2011, we are currently looking to book to go again this June 2012! (This is completely unlike me to do, as I have a huge travel bug and like to go to a new place each time I travel)
However, we had a wonderful holiday here. The hotel was perfect and the area of oludeniz was BEAUTIFUL!
We stayed for 10 nights, and had bed and breakfast included. The room was lovely and modern and well equipped with all the cupboard space you could need, a good mirror and vanity set up, a little tv, a little fridge, good working air con, a sofa, and the bathroom was excellently clean and modern, the shower was super powerful and it just felt nice and posh :)
The only small thing i could mention negatively is that the bed was a little hard for me.. so me and my friend took the blankets from the wardrobe and put them under the sheets, which made it squishier :) and the cleaners did our beds up with them as we left them each time they came!
The breakfast was well filled.. the simple continental stuff like bread and pastries and cereals, as well as some warm food, like omelets, and eggs and some sort of meat thing (im vegetarian) and tea and coffee and juice and water to, oh and lots of different preserves, and marmalade type things :) we filled up pretty good each morning!
The pool area was lovely.. it was never overcrowded, and we always got a good spot to sun bathe.. the pool bar was great for snacks and drinks, and the price was not bad at all (you put everything on a tab and pay at check out) plus all the staff were excellently helpful and happy, i didn't feel hassled for tips either.

The area: we went to the blue lagoon about 3 times for the day, it was so lovely and relaxing, it costs 4 lira to get in to the lagoon.
we also went to sugar beach which was a short walk past the lagoon, that was free to get into, however you have to rent a sunbed for about 15 lira for two and a parasol, also they don't allow you to eat your own food. it was a really cool place though, beautiful!
The jeep safari trip was amazing!! such a fun day, and got to see lots of sites :) be prepared to get soaked! wear a bathing suit and other things that can get wet, and a waterproof bag would be a good idea. we booked with a lady called maria, and the company was called "bloody gorgeous" lol
we also booked a boat trip for the day with them which was tons of fun as well, we left from the main beach and got food to :)
oh and we went horse riding to the ghost town village.
The restaurants were all spectacular, we never had a bad meal from the local area, and they were all reasonably priced, the best place we went to was 'HELP' a bar restaurant by the beach, it was fantastic.

So after all that, you HAVE to go if you are considering it :)

Had another wonderful stay here again for the fifth time, in May of this year. Excellent as always. The staff always friendly and a good laugh. The A La Carte menu is excellent and the rooms spotlessly clean. Can't wait to return in 2012.

“Family Accomodation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Stayed here in October 2011 for a week with 2 teenagers, a 10 year old & grandparents. The hotel is very clean and well located for the stunningly beautiful beach and local bus stop with plenty local connections. Rooms are reasonable size & have nice balcony. The breakfast is VERY limited. While markets were overflowing with fresh fruit, we had slightly off honeydew melon as the fruit choice all week - one day with an extra of rotten oranges. Orange juice was synthetic and coffee undrinkable. We never tried the dinner there but walking past the dinner display, it did not look very inviting. Staff were very nice, though, with the exception of the female receptionist - not able to communicate with us due to a lack of English, French or German on their part and Turkish on ours. We wanted to walk the Lycian way and found it impossible to find any info about this -or any other info re sights/buses/taxi at the hotel ( staff: "we are from the North we don't know this place"). The Lycian way is fabulous - get info from the internet and buy good maps before going out to Turkey. The hotel staff could do with some training rather than spending all their time watching Turkish x factor in the lobby.
PS. We booked through Thomas Cook - not recommended - very inefficient and not transparent about details & conditions of this trip.

“Well maintained and lovely hotel”

We stayed here for 7 nights 22nd-29th October. We loved the room we were allocated, it was spacious comfortable and spotless. We hada little balcony which served its purpose and had lovely views down to the Beach and of the mountains. It was quiet as the season was drawing to a close so didnt get the full benefit of what would normally be pool and bar atmosphere but staff were helpful and polite, especially Sulaman who made an effort to get to know us and attend our needs. We would definitely stay here again and would recommnd it. Not too far to the beach and just round the corner from the main drag. Olu Deniz is one of our favourite places we have visited many times since 1993 and although it has developed considerably it hasnt been spoiled and the relaxed but electric atmoshere is still there. Love it.
