Okay, me and my best friend stayed here last summer in June 2011, we are currently looking to book to go again this June 2012! (This is completely unlike me to do, as I have a huge travel bug and like to go to a new place each time I travel)
However, we had a wonderful holiday here. The hotel was perfect and the area of oludeniz was BEAUTIFUL!
We stayed for 10 nights, and had bed and breakfast included. The room was lovely and modern and well equipped with all the cupboard space you could need, a good mirror and vanity set up, a little tv, a little fridge, good working air con, a sofa, and the bathroom was excellently clean and modern, the shower was super powerful and it just felt nice and posh :)
The only small thing i could mention negatively is that the bed was a little hard for me.. so me and my friend took the blankets from the wardrobe and put them under the sheets, which made it squishier :) and the cleaners did our beds up with them as we left them each time they came!
The breakfast was well filled.. the simple continental stuff like bread and pastries and cereals, as well as some warm food, like omelets, and eggs and some sort of meat thing (im vegetarian) and tea and coffee and juice and water to, oh and lots of different preserves, and marmalade type things :) we filled up pretty good each morning!
The pool area was lovely.. it was never overcrowded, and we always got a good spot to sun bathe.. the pool bar was great for snacks and drinks, and the price was not bad at all (you put everything on a tab and pay at check out) plus all the staff were excellently helpful and happy, i didn't feel hassled for tips either.
The area: we went to the blue lagoon about 3 times for the day, it was so lovely and relaxing, it costs 4 lira to get in to the lagoon.
we also went to sugar beach which was a short walk past the lagoon, that was free to get into, however you have to rent a sunbed for about 15 lira for two and a parasol, also they don't allow you to eat your own food. it was a really cool place though, beautiful!
The jeep safari trip was amazing!! such a fun day, and got to see lots of sites :) be prepared to get soaked! wear a bathing suit and other things that can get wet, and a waterproof bag would be a good idea. we booked with a lady called maria, and the company was called "bloody gorgeous" lol
we also booked a boat trip for the day with them which was tons of fun as well, we left from the main beach and got food to :)
oh and we went horse riding to the ghost town village.
The restaurants were all spectacular, we never had a bad meal from the local area, and they were all reasonably priced, the best place we went to was 'HELP' a bar restaurant by the beach, it was fantastic.
So after all that, you HAVE to go if you are considering it :)
