We have stayed at Flying Dutchman 5 years in a row, and came to like this hotel from our first visit. Over the years we have also introduced this hotel to several of our friends and they have all fallen in love with Oludeniz and the Flying Dutchman and have become regular guests as well. The owners, Isik and Paul, are very friendly and helpful, always prepared to help with any situation you may need to sort out, same goes to say for the rest of the staff. This is a small unpretentious hotel with a homely feel and atmosphere and you quickly get to know everyone on the staff. We have come to feel very at ease and relaxed here and hardly bother to lock our door when we go out. Their Beefeater Steakhouse has some of the better food in town and the Turkish Pizza restaurant on the roof terrace has many good choices on the menu as well. Evening entertainment is good, my personal favourite is a singer/guitarist who has a spanish repertoir and who creates a very nice ambience several nights a week. However, must not forget to mention Elvis night on Tuesdays and Fridays, which is great fun and is a must on our programme at least once every stay. And this comes from a person who 10 wild horses could not pull into an Elvis show elsewhere in the world ! And this entertainment is all for free ! So, nothing bad to be said about this hotel ? In all fairness, there is some noice from the night life in the street, but this is mostly between 9 and 12 p.m, but if you want to be in central Oludeniz this is the price you have to pay, I guess. The hotel is located on the main street with a short walk to the beach and most other activites in town and has as such a very good location. Also, if you are into paragliding you'll most likely bump into other pilots staying at the hotel as well. Excellent hotel considering the level of prices and have no hesitation giving my recommendations. Certainly, you can find more luxurious hotels but not at this price level. We will definitely be back for our 6th year next year! Almost cannot wait !
