I rate this hotel average, as the price was actually quite reasonable (€15 per night for single room..).
If we had had to pay more, i would probably rate it lower, though..
The rooms were standard, and fairly clean.. The person in the room next to mine was smoking in the room and the smell seeped through and into my cupboard (i'm a non-smoker, so not very nice..). out of the 6 days we stayed there, 3 or 4 of the days we had no hot water. So taking that nice warm shower at the end of the day before going for dinner didn't happen.. Rather strange, as the weather was fantastic, and it was fairly warm all day (which is usually hotels' excuse for not having hot water).
the breakfast which was included in the room price was a joke - tomatoes, cucumbers, semi-dry white bread and hard-boiled eggs.. that was it.. The proper food ordered in the bar however was really good - but not included in the price..
Pool was nice and had a really nice shape which made it supereasy to spot it from above when paragliding (which is totally worth trying!!), and the staff was really nice and friendly.
i would totally go back to Oludeniz, but not sure i would choose that hotel - would probably rather pay a bit more and have good breakfast and hot water..
also.. prepare to be woken up at sunrise (like 5am..) every morning by religious chanting.. Closing all doors and windows did not keep the sound out...

When I read some of the reviews I wonder if people have stayed at the same hotel and what their expectations are for the price! We have recently returned from our third visit to the Mavi Belce and once more had a brilliant time. We have always had a nice room, basic but very clean and well maintained. The staff are lovely and we are treated like old friends now. A family business and we even met Mamma this time and sampled her breakfast cheese (a bit strong but she was delighted we liked it!). The pool area and garden are hosed and cleaned at dawn every morning, the pool bar food is excellent and the only gripe is the usual bagging of sunbeds with towels (by day and night!) but that happens everywhere. The location, behind the strip, is so convenient and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast is typically Turkish but if you want anything else just ask and it will appear with smiles and quiet courtesy. We always have at least one evening meal there and although the menu is simple the food is delicious. Our last morning was somewhat spoilt by one ?gentleman? shouting, and stomping about swearing over some problem he obviously had! There is no need for this - the staff have enough trouble coping with our accents let alone the venacular! They are quiet, friendly, very hard working and nothing is too much trouble and, as such, they simply do not understand how people can behave like this. We cannot wait to return to this gem of a hotel next summer and of course everything else that Olu Deniz has to offer. It is like coming home now to relax in warm sun, beautiful scenery, lovely people, good food etc. etc.!

Stayed there in october 2011 and it was a total nightmare. No hot water for 4 days and then limited water for a couple of hours in the morning and evening if you are lucky.
Staff are so miserable and lie.

We were slightly put off by some of the reviews, but all i can say is wow. the place was basic but very clean. staff were friendly and the pool area was relaxing and clean.
the room we had was v small but had a bathroom, double bed and fridge. plus a small balcony. you couldnt need anything more.
the hotel itself was in a brilliant location.
everyone was friendly. the only downside was that its a pretty quiet resort, but with buses so cheap you could travel anywhere and hisaronu was only 5 minutes away by bus, fethiye was about 15.
i plan on going here again next year if possible.
