This was my first time staying at an all-inc hotel in oludeniz and will probably be my last.....NOT down to the hotel just down to the vast number of great restaurants in the town!

Hotel is great, rooms are well laid out and cleaned every day - this must be one of the biggest pools and has a great water slide open for a few hours a day

August 2010. To be fair, the Alize Hotel was very pleasant. The stay in the hotel was fine, the weather was absolutely beautiful too. We, as a family couldn't fault anything about our two week stay there. The hotel room was clean, the shower and toilet were clean, the pool was clean and monitored each night by staff, the restaurant food was good - got a little monotonous but food was cooked every day, twice a day and there was always something to eat whether it was hot or cold. It's not typical English food, but then we as a family feel that you don't go on holiday to eat egg and chips!! This hotel's food would not be for you if this is what you like. The menu is quite varied and cooked as Turkish people cook. The staff were very friendly and helpful; whether Bar Staff, Hotel Staff or Entertainment staff. For the money we paid for the summer holidays the holiday was as it should of been. For us the hotel was in a good position too, we didn't want to be right on the strip but it was only a few minutes walk away from the hotel if you wanted to go out each night to a pub/restaurant for a change. For us, the pool was a god send as the weather was very hot so to go in a cool clean pool was really lovely. We had our teenage son who was on his first holiday without his elder brother so we were a little worried about how to keep him occupied. The Alize had a little bit of a so called gym that he used a few times but he managed to keep himself busy by being involved in the daily entertainment games with friends that he made. So yes, I would say go to the Alize Hotel if you want a hotel that is clean and friendly with edible food!!! It's not 5 star but it is an ok 4 star for Turkey!! :-)

For our last family holiday together with 3 teenagers we wanted something to keep everyone happy and this hotel was perfect for us. Well located, away from the noise but only minutes from the strip with its night life, shops and restaurants. Pool was too cold to swim in except for the hardiest but the sea was beautiful still. All inclusive was ideal - snack bar late at night was appreciated by hungry teenagers but not much for vegetarians at this time. We all enjoyed the meals - lots of fresh local produce and enough variety. I don't like drinking out of plastic beakers but they did the job.

Rooms were clean, beds comfortable but I did find the lack of hot water in early evening annoying. It was much colder than I had expected in half term week in October and as the hotel is set up for hot summer nights, the bar was a bit breezy. A warm hoody or jacket is essential. The weather during the day was perfect.

My husband loved the Turkish shave, he was forewarned about removing ear hair with a flame! The hotel Turkish bath/massage/ sauna package was a great value family experience. You might get it in the strip (main street) cheaper but this was haggle free. We booked trips through Erkan, the entertainer after checking out the end of season deals on the strip - a Quad bike ride (lower safety levels to UK but good fun), boat trip was very cheap - ok but you pay for everything extra including entry to ruins, drinks, snacks and chips with the meal (which was very ropey). I didn't rate the lagoon - no spare beach to stretch out on, just rows of closely packed sun beds. We got the free bus down then left to walk back to the beach.

I didn't think I'd enjoy the entertainment but I did join in one night and really had fun.Erkan is brilliant. Bar staff and waiters were ok - all efficient and hard working, some quite friendly. Spa wasn't working at the time of our visit. I would happily go back, a great holiday.

My family and I have been going to the Alize for the past 4 years twice a year June and September , the bar staff are excellent and are very funny , the waiters are also great guys, the maids are again also lovely and do anything for you , but my biggest love is for the entertainment team , my son is (was) a very shy boy who never wanted to join in but Erkan and his team brought him out of himself and he now joins in all activities , they are such great fun and remember you each year , I love this hotel so much I started my own Facebook page dedicated to alize so people who go or are going can join and see pics etc .

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are clean , the only downside is the food is very basic and gets a bit boring after a while but this is very Turkish thing and most hotels seem to be the same.
