“good hotel for the money we paid”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

sorry my review is a bit late.we went to this hotel for the last 12 days of october.this hotel is small and brill.we paid £400 each and it was well worth its money.the pool, bar restaurant, snack bar and ampitheatre are all bang in the center with spitting distance from each other.we went with a wheelchair but the ramps are too steep to use.there are about 20 steps up to the ampitheatre which is awkward for the less able then there are another 10 steps up to the top bar.which is nice for the pool tables and overlooks the pool.the staff are not very friendly but after a few gins who cares! the food is nice but dont go late as once its gone its gone! i dont think i would recommend to go again at this time of year as the staff packed the hotel up around us which was very uncomfortable.i would definatley go back to this resort though.when you go out of the entrance you turn right and you are bang in the centre of town.the town is like one ling street with restaurants and bars.this is a main resort for mountain jumpers with parachutes as you are surrounded by mountains.it gets very cold at night.its good to watch them as they land on the beach.would definatley go back if same price.

Room Tip: we were near the bar but had no noise.anywhere is fine.

“A good hotel + Oludeniz = great holidays!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

A good hotel with all inclusive. Very nice rooms (good furniture, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom), good food (especially dinners, but also snacks, crepes & ice cream during the day), perfect drinks. Service is top class. Everything is very clean and well maintained.

The hotel is situated 8 minutes walk from the main beach in Oludeniz – so the location is perfect. You can take a free hotel shuttle to go to the different beach, private one in the Blue Lagoon. It is quiet and perfect for kids (but feels more like a lake).
Oludeniz is a perfect place for laid back vacations (and paragliding of course), and this is the good choice to stay (also value for money).

We would go there again!

“Loved it - great holiday and wedding!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011 via mobile

We stayed at the hotel along with 30 other people who had travelled with us for our wedding. We were worried after booking because of all the negative reviews we had read - we shouldn't have been, we loved it. The food is good and there is plenty of it, the staff are friendly and the hotel could not have been cleaner.
If there were any areas that could be improved it would be:
The alcohol did not seem that strong and we were not informed of what was includes in the All Inclusive we only found out lots of options in our last few days. Also one or two people had trouble with their air con but a quick call to reception and they were moved to another room.
The hotel is brilliantly placed to Olu Deniz town which is a great place and Olu Deniz itself is a stunning place.
I would recommend the 6 island boat trip, we arranged it for our whole group the day after our wedding and it was a great way to spend time together and a fab way to end our holiday.
For anyone getting married on the private beach - u will not be disappointed it took our breath away and was everything we wanted and more - the hotel wedding planner Chisam was amazing.
One last thing bad with the hotel - Tweety the photographer - a right pain in the rear - be firm and tell him to go away or he will never leave u alone!!!

“Lovely resort-visited in may 2011”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

This was our first holiday going all inclusive...we did go with the expectation of eat and drink what you want...however i'm glad we only stayed for a week.

Negatives:There is plenty of choice of food however very turkish and not being used to it i did find myself eating a lot of bread, especially as being pregnant i was a bit concerned as to what was in the dishes. You never went without there was always something avl even if it was just bread. We did notice towards the end of the week they were bringing out more dishes the english were used e.g donner kebab and chips needless to say there was a massive queue.

A serious lack of drink....as i could only drink juice or water it was bound to get boring but i wouldn't have minded but the juice was awful...as for my partner he was really looking forward to free beer but he even got sick of the taste...apparently it wasnt good beer either and there was only one choice. We were expecting cocktails but they were only on in the evening and you had to pay for it...that's not all inclusive???And we did find the bar staff a bit dull. We discovered at the end of our week a couple of spirts hidden behind the bar...advertise!-or are they too expensive?

We went at the start of may...and if they are going to open then they need a heated pool...it was a lovely 28 outside the pool but a refreshing -10 inside the pool, some of the children braved it...but it wasnt nice no wonder there wasnt many up for the pool games.

The positives: Really pretty resort well kept there wasnt any rubbish to be seen anywhere. When the maids came and cleaned our room one day she did find a top of mine lying on the floor and she decided to make a swan with it and left them on my bed very sweet.

Nice spa area, not that cheap though and i didnt rate the turkish bath it's just something you have to experience when in Turkey. They have an area where they do treatments manicures pedicures etc they were a lovely couple and reasonably priced and i heard great things about them.

Accomodation was spot on, air con didnt work however-it blew out hot air??

I found evening entertainment to be good it amused me... it was what i was expecting and the children loved it...which is the main thing it isnt there for the adults!!One night they had some belly dancers and they always started with a childrens disco.

Be careful of getting sucked in with Tweetie he is the resident photographer and sales person for the massages, he does take good photos particulary at night however they are expensive and he does take quite a few so you end up wanting quite a few and he did offer to charge us an extra 60 euro to put them on a cd and we could have the small photos for free ( the one's he was going to chuck away anyway)....i did hear a chap bargaining with him and he got some freebies (so that's probably the way to go)-just remember how cheap they are to print in boots-because this is all he does.

This is definately a family resort, they do play loud music around the pool, which we enjoyed but probably not want you want if you are after a relaxing/romantic couples holiday.

Oh and be very very careful with the trips out...usually on holiday we loved to visit the surrounding areas but they were ridiculously over priced so only went on a cheaper one, visit to the market, a turkish delight factory (which was a bit naff-just another place for you to spend your dosh) and finished with a boat trip which was pleasant.

The blue lagoon wasnt all that it seems on the brochures, this is all we went for and were very dissapointed, it's just as pretty as all the other beaches and not worth the walk especially in the heat.

At the end of our holiday we decided we would still go all inclusive but would go to a more expensive hotel with a wider choice of restaurants and bars, this one only had one of each.

Oh and also there is a sister hotel just down the road Olu Deniz resort hotel which was pretty much the same just with more pools and the accom didnt look as nice as ours either.

“Great hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

We stay from 10th October for 2 weeks. Weather was a bit up and down but what do you expect this late in the season. When we worked out what we had paid it was £25 per person per day all inclusive. It shocks me that people can complain when they pay these sort of prices for room, 3 meals+ a day and drinks included.
We found the food to be very good, nice selection at every meal,my only gripe is that you get chips with virtually every meal, I don't eat chips but 2 weeks without potatoes did me no harm. The waiting staff are superb, we only drank the beer and wine and both were good, perfectly drinkable and not watered down.
The room we had was nice and cleaned every day with clean towels and bedding changed every 3 days.
The grounds are lovely and the situation of the hotel near the centre of the town and beach is great.
We had hired a car so spent lots of time exploring the area which is lovely with loads of historic sights to visit.
