Myself & my 12 year old daughter went to the Tolay Hotel for 10 days in August 2011, we had a great time, nothing was too much trouble for Ali and his staff. The rooms were basic but spotlessly clean & the bar is always open! The location of the hotel is excellent with just a short walk to the busy resort but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise. We have just booked to go back again in May this year & can't wait to see Ali again!

Nice clean hotel. Stayed in room 15 at the back of the hotel, a large room which was spotless. Ali was very welcoming and helpful when required. Other staff were polite and helpful. We didnt use restaurant and only used the bar a couple of times. Pool looked clean and inviting but again we didnt use it (we only use hotels in Hisaronu as a base to explore rest of the region).
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and found the buffet breakfast to be fine although it could do with covers on the food. Previous reviews about noisy rooms may be true as when couples turn in at 3-4am the noise echoes around the corridor, not necessarily slamming doors but just the echo makes it worse.

just arrived back from this hotel, first time there, fantastic group of people, warm friendly and nothing too much trouble....the food is first class, sunday dinner fantastic.....the hotel is five minutes from Hisoranu, which is quite a busy place.....the hotel has a few ducks and chickens, which are abit noisy but not a problem...rooms are basic, good hot showers, clean towels daily and a lovely cleaner who's always smiling......going back next year and hopefully Ali may have learnt to dance...hahaa......look out for the cake man who visits everyafternoon.... breakfast is basic but ample or you can order a full english...what you havent got ask for, Ali and the guys do their best to ensure you have a great holiday, without being in your face as ive experienced before in other hotels......hope you visit and maybe il see you there :-0)))))
