“Perdikia Hill set on atranquil hillside is a peace haven.....”

Set in little village Ovacik but only a 10 minute car ride from Olu Deniz the Hotel Perdikia Apartments are clean, very spacious and with friendly staff.

The location is great for couples and family's who don't want be near the pumping bars and clubs, but who want the option of facilities if needed.

There are chickens and goats meandering around and the trees are layden with pomegranates in October. Its a village with alot of locals so you get to see a bit of real Turkish life. Buses are regular and cheap or there is a free hotel bus to Olue deniz beach.
each day at 10am.

Rooms are spotless and the gardens are well maintained with a play area for kids and a pool table. The food is mixed and you can have traditional Turkish or world-cuisine. The lamb-shish kepab is especially good.

Its a relaxing place to stay. We went in October (end of season) and so it was less busy. We also got an amazing deal for £200 pp for 2 weeks including flight!

The host and manager Tibet is a great laugh and friendly :)

Room Tip: all rooms are clean, light and spacious. But if you have walking difficulties better you have a room...

“Clean - but believe all you read about killer hill”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

We were there for the last 2 weeks in September - not to many negatives to mention - lets get the bad out the way 1st. The walk down killer hill is easy, the walk back up is really a killer, It takes a good 35 mins to walk into hisaronu at a brisk pace, and even catching a dolmus into Hisaronu is down killer hill the another baby hill to the main road. No Entertainment worth talking about in the hotel or in Ovacik, so you have to go into Hisaronu for any night life. Drinks and Snacks are put on a tab at the hotel where you can pay daily or weekly or at the end of you hoilday - i paid daily as it was very expensive to eat and drink in the hotel, but you expect that in the hotels. The rooms and cleanliness of the hotel were second to none - the Staff are So-So - could do so much better - seemingly this hotel is going all inclusive next season - this hotel could not cope with this - with the facilities they have - to small - But all in all we had a good holiday and would recommend it if you wanted to sit by the pool - have a few drinks at night - and went to bed

Room Tip: ask for a pool area one - not one in the roof

“Superb!”

We have just returned from a week at Perdikia Hills and had a truly wonderful holiday.

We had a one bedroom apartment and were honestly really surprised at the quality and cleanliness. We had two balconies; both had amazing views. The only fault with the apartment was the water pressure in the shower. The low pressure made washing my thick hair tricky. The bedroom was comfortable and the maid service was faultless. They even folded my pjs for me on the odd occasion!

As many have pointed out, the complex is at the top of a hill. We were not surprised by this because of the name-Perdikia Hill. We really didn't find the hill to be a problem. It is well-lit and has a decent surface. This really wouldn't put me off. We got the dolmus everywhere and never once got a taxi. There was simply no need.

We were SC so didn't experience the food. Drinks, however, were reasonably priced. We got the dolmus to Olu Deniz most evenings and ate there.

Overall, I was very happy with Perdikia Hill. I would definitely go again. Although we are both in our mid-twenties, we enjoyed the peace and comfort the complex offered.

“Great location if you don't mind steep hill!”

Perdikia Hill Apartments, very clean and well kept, staff very friendly, great views from some of the apartments. No real problem getting a sun bed, we did go 4 weeks before the end of season so that might have something to do with it as when we arrived the sunbeds were being 'reserved' from 8 am! As it was near the end of the season there were not many kids around and the kids club was not open. We also found that again as it was near the end of season the choice of food from the restaurant was VERY limited, we went for breakfast one morning (that was enough to ensure we didn't bother again) and we were presented with a Turkish breakfast that was very sparse and asked if we wanted an egg, to which a hard boiled warm egg was presented, on offer was coffee/tea, bread for toast, some cereal and juice, that was it, apparently the evening meal didn't fare much better.
It was a great location though and as mentioned very clean and staff were great. Some downsides to consider... we had a 2 bed and 1 bed apartment, the 2 bed was fantastic, large open space for living/dining/ kitchen with 2 balconies and a tuilet, bedrooms downstairs both with en suites. The 1 bed apartment was on the 3rd floor (roof top), which was lovely but definitely not for anyone over 5 feet tall due to the sloping ceilings, my husband whacked his head everyday (LOL). The area around the swimming pool is VERY slippery when wet, we actually decided to stay away from the pool with the children the 2nd week due to the number of slips and falls they were getting. The only other downside was the hill up the the hotel, it was hateful, very hard going and if you were staying where we were you then had another uphill climb and then several flights of stairs, we found ourselves spending quite a bit of money on taxis just to avoid the struggle.

Room Tip: Roof top rooms (1 bed) to be avoided if you are over 5 ft. 2 bed apartment fantastic.
