We were in Antakya for the weekend and stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. I chose this one because what we were looking for was a central, clean and safe room because we needed the room just to sleep.
About the room:
The linens and the toilet was clean however the room was not that clean. You see dust in the corners, on the radiator and some stains on the door. The room was not well aerated and not good smelling. The bed was not comfortable and we had some noisy Arabic speaking neighbors speaking loud late in the night. So our sleep quality was low.
The room was comfortable warm. The room size is OK. There is a mini-refrigirator. I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi when I was in the room but it was not available. MAybe it was just a temporary failure. Anyway, I didn't mind since I had my mobile internet connection.
About the breakfast:
The breakfast plate was basic but we were to taste the delicious antakya cuisine so we didnot mind the quality or the size.
About the hotel:
The location is very good. Just 5 minutes walking distance to Uzunçarşı and the Archeological Museum.
I had to visit the common restroom but the lock was not working. No toilet paper. Thank God there was soap.
Although this hotel seems to be cheap compared to the boutique hotels in Antakya (80 TL vs 150-200 TL), it is expensive when considering what it offers to you. It looks like the owners are avoiding any investment.
If you are in Antakya just for a night, don't care about confort and don't want to pay a lot for the stay, I could recommend. It is an OK hotel after all.
