“Amazing Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2011

I recently had the privildge of staying here in the village accomodation for a business meeting. The complex is massive and beautifully maintained. There are several pools whoch are wonderful but I think the highlight is the jetty that streches out into the see! Really gorgeous.

Staff is amazing too!

I would suggest staying in the village which is more quite but still very close to all the facilities!

“Recommendable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2009

Robinson Club Nobilis is a 170 (!) acre beach resort with on-site championship golf course. It primarely targets the German tourist but slowly but surely even the Russians (that are omnipresent in most hotels in that area) have discovered this resort.

It has been a couple of year since our last stay there, but it is obvious that a major renovation in some areas is due (rooms). Rumor has it, that the lease for this resort is running out and TUI is reluctant to make the investment at this point of time.

Perfect landscaping, great food, great sports and wellness facilities are a decent base for a nice and relaxing family vacation. Go shopping in Belek, if you care for cheap fakes and overpriced gadgets, otherwise -> STAY WAY. It's a giant tourist trap.

“It's a typical Robinson environment: quality people (95% German), all fine but not perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2009

Robinson Club Nobilis is a beautiful place. The whole resort is big, green and very well kept. If you are fine with a 95% German clientele (mostly upper-middle-class people) and like the Robinson concept, it's great. If any of those disturb you, you probably won't enjoy it.

I know Robinson quite well (6th holiday) - and Nobilis delivers what you expect.
For my wife it was the first Robinson holiday, and as she is not German, her impression was of course a bit different.

Offering:
- Full board (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner, midnight snacks)
- Drinks during meals included (soft drinks, table wine, beer)
- Extra cost for drinks outside the meals (prices: 1.5 l Water: 2 EUR, 0.3 Beer: 2.70 EUR)
- Speciality restaurants (3: one Turkish, one mediterranean, one asian fusion) are included, but need to be booked one day in advance (fee: 6 EUR)
- Most sports, all entertainment is free
- Internet: WiFi in the main building only, 3 EUR/hour

Pros and cons:
Pro:
- Nobilis is a very nice resort. Mostly green (pine forest) and a huge area (85,000 sqm), so it never feels packed
- Due to the Robinson concept - most tables are seating 8 people in the restaurants - you easily meet people and have easy-going chats. As people are usually at a certain level, this is quite pleasent. Most people enjoy this open communication, also greating each other when walking through the club is common
- The choice of food in the buffets (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner are all open-buffet in the main restaurant) is great. Special diet, light food, lactose-free and the like are offered. The food is very international, having a slight Turkish influence.
- The beach is nice, enough deck chairs and some lounge chairs are available. Also the platform in the sea is very nice, with deck chairs and some lounge beds. Tends to be packed, but never in a disturbing way as most people mainly enjoy sunbathing and the sea
- The sea is perfect. Cristal clear water.
- The staff is very friendly, and expecially the entertainment, bar and sport "Robins" are great and usually immdiately remember you after the first chat.
- Also the management is around, the two club directors - Stefan and Tina - often walk around to chat and check if people are fine. Only the country manager, Mahmoud, seems to be a very arrogant person.

Cons:
- The rooms are OK, but more feel like standard Motel-rooms. All is clean, but a refurbishment wouldn't be a bad idea. We stayed in the "Village", and had a day-room in the main building at our departure. I would highly prefer the Village - which is surprisingly cheaper.
- Well, it's a German exklave in Turkey. Can be fully liked our disliked. While almost everyone speaks English, all offers (sports, entertainment etc.) are in German only.
- The "Turkish food" and fish buffet offered in the Turkish restaurant "KUYU" is OK, but far from great. If you know the Turkish cuisine, you know they could do much better. This is really a strong downside! We think that the manager of KUYU ("Helmut", though Turkish) is aware of this, but management doesn't seem to care too much. Just suppose: not even Turkish coffee is offered!

Conclusion:
- Nobilis is a great place, and nothing will be wrong or annoy you
- Given the price (~220 EUR per room per day), the offering is OK, but not more
- You need to like a German upper-middle-class environment
