Stayed in asteria in September with my son. Nice place for the kids as they have kids place and it is the biggest one i seen. Also they have even kids skate in to the pool.
Foods are middle quality. Quite big hotel and you are one of the guest and you could be unsatidfied does not matter because 2500 people staying in the hotel.
One matter can explaine my thoughts. My kids wanted to have Cotton sweet and we were waiting in the quee. When the our terms is the server has lost and suddenly he take off the electiricity then he explained time 18,00 and he must close. I was discuss him that i can not explaine that to children and he could not decide then we asked him chef reopen the machine. Same for the towel changing. When we return from the beach the close at 18,00 and noone can open it for changing. Very strict rules etc was really bored me. Or i am too old for all incluisive holidays as i am 30 :)

I recommend Chinese restaurant and eat up Pekinese Duck. Really good restaurant. Also animation team was really good and friendly.

Nice sandy beach just entrance of the sea is stony.

fantastic choise of top quality food, very helpful staff, very large and clean pool area, rooms very clean, air con worked well, kids club is the best i've ever known, fantastic holiday over all going back in october can't wait.

stayed here aug 2010 went with the misses 2 kids 10..11. 20 mins from airport. we all luved it from the moment we arrived. 2 pools large one was good. good slides there, a bit packed but thats what you get in school hols. smaller pool near beach was great spent all our time round there and on beach, the beach is very long as you are the last hotel along there, plenty of beds and shade, free pedalos, have to pay for jet skis, 2 great little bars just steps of the beach , also is a bit of a nite club later on in one of them. food very good bit busy but always found a table, good snacks all day long you have to stop your self from eating all day long.pancakes were great from the pancake lady near the beach, popcorn good. our room was small so what only sleep init dont you. staff were good . animation team on the go all day and nite . entertainment at nite was a bit naff, not really bothered about that, a few drinks after tea and then bed and up early in the morning. 3 a la carte restaurants only went to italian it was good. the gounds of the hotel are very nice well maintained. there is nothing outside the hotel like shops and things suits me, you have to get on a little bus to a town 10-15 mins away. turkish bath was great and free, had a massarge £30 ish felt great after it. would reccomend this hotel to any one with or without kids..

Rooms are a little out dated and need some re-decoration but the rest of the hotel makes it all worth while. Great beach with enough sun beds. Pool is a little crowded but the is enough green around it to get some rest. Food is a story on it's own. This is why we visited this hotel three times. The restaurant is crowded but the food is great with a lot of fresh stuff and it get's very often replenished. We even had fresh slamon cut from the bone right on the grill.
