Having stayed six nights in this rural hotel we can given it the thumbs up. It comes highly recommended but you need your own transport as its about 6 Kms from the town of Olhao.
The breakfast is excellent, cooked to order and supplemented by the usual buffet. The rooms are not big but fine as after all they are only for sleeping. Some have a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The swimming pool is lovely and very well maintained as are the very large gardens. There is a pitch and putt course laid out for residents. It is very quiet at night and there is no noise. The restaurant is located a short walk away through the garden but breakfast is served in the hotel itself. As this is a family run hotel and the owner is on site everything is spot on. The staff without exception were lovely and always ready to offer advice or assistance .
We will defnitely be back, hopefully before too long.

Nice place to stay. Nice view and very peaceful. The staff is kind and helpful. 4 stars because of the beads (the matress its not very good) and the breakfast is very simple, with few choices. Apart that it's very nice.

We only had one night here at the end of July but we couldn't have wished for anything better and will be sure to return and for a longer stay next time. Due to flight times we arrived mid morning and before our room was ready. Whilst we sat in the shade drinking a cool beer on the terrace admiring the pool, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a superior room over looking the pool as it was ready before the room originally allocated to us. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, the bed was very firm as other guests have noted, but ideal for us. We walked across the grounds to the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed an excellent meal. Other customers that we spoke to in the restaurant were not residents but commented on the fact that it was one of the best places to eat in the area. The breakfast which is served in the hotel main building was of equally high standard with a fabulous cold buffet plus cooked eggs and bacon for those who wished. This is a family run hotel and the level of customer service is excellent, efficient and friendly. If you are looking a quiet, comfortable country hotel look no further.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, one at the start of our holiday & one at the end. Everything was well presented & the staff helpful & friendly. Our stay felt more like a stay with family rather than an impersonal hotel. The room was spacious, spotless & beautifully quiet. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant both evenings & the breakfasts were delightful especially the range of fresh fruits & small pastries. Couldn't fault this hotel apart from it being a little difficult to find when we arrived! This almost adds to it's charm as it is a little off the beaten track.
