just spend another fantastic mini break at River Manor. it is the best place in the Cape to stay as far as i'm concerned. nothing is too much trouble for Justin (the manager) or Johan (owner). the decor is beautiful and very tastefully done.
River Manor is conveniently located for all the wine estates and day trips to Chapmans Peak or around the coast. we also spent the day at Kalk Bay which was recommended by Justin which we really enjoyed.

River Manor is a small hotel which allows for a more personal touch with service. On arrival we were met by the manager who was very friendly and took time to give us an overview of Stellenbosch. He advised us of everything that Stellenbosh had to offer and was able to recommend some excellent restaurants and wine tours.
Our room was decorated in an old fashion which was consistant with the style of the hotel.
The hotel is in a great quiet location within walking distance to bars cafe's & restaurants. The best thing about the hotel would have to be the service. From arrival to departure we were always made to feel at home and nothing was ever a problem.

We were in Stellenbosch for one night as part of a 2 week holiday. The staff were eager to please and Justin was very helpful in helping us select a restaurant and vineyards for wine tasting. The hotel is located in a nice peaceful neighbourhood and we felt safe walking around at night. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again.
