I stayed at the JACARANDA GUEST HOUSE in Paarl in December 2011 for one night as I was attending a Wedding in the area. I had recived great help from Mike when booking the room and he assisted me with questions about the location of the guesthouse and wedding venue.

We arrived at the quest house late in the evening as we had come straight from the wedding and Mike was very accommodating to open up at the late hour.

After a very long day, it was great to be welcomed in the very warm and cosy guest house. We stayed in the Rose room and it was lovely. The room and guesthouse is very clean, tidy and well maintained. The room was very comfortable and large.
My expectations had meet exceeded. The bathroom was also very nice.

We had a lovely breakfast in the morning and sat outside by the pool for a short while after eating. Both Mike and Michelle had been great hosts and made us feel right at home. I actually felt like I was part of the family.

I definitely recommend JACARANDA GUEST HOUSE and I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Two years ago, my wife and I have been so lucky to find Jacaranda in Paarl and to spend three days there. We would have called it the "perfect" three days had not been for a (very) annoying detail.
This time, just before Xmas, we decided to double our pleasure and our fun and managed to stay there, this time, for 6 days.
Halas, the very same thing happened again to spoil an otherwise perfect vacation.
We had to leave! After six days of perfect bliss, we had to bid farewell to Mike and Michelle, catch a plane and go back to whatever was expecting us.
And this, when, you stay at Jacaranda, attended to and pampered by its perfect hosts, going to sleep and thinking that, eventually, one day you have to leave, is enough to put you in a gloomy mood.
Luckily, as soon as the sun is up again, and you wake up in that beautiful, cosy room and you take a look at that perfect swimming pool and melt again at the sight of that beautiful mountain range, well, just knowing that after a perfect shower the most perfect breakfast is waiting for you, like not even mother ever prepared one for you (pardon mom but truth has its rights!) then you can forget your gloom and think: for sure I'll live long enough to come back again and stay, this time longer, at this more perfect home away from home that you can think of.
Do we recommend Jacaranda? For the place, for the reception, for the accommodation, for the surroundings and for the directions and warmth of the hosts; yes, definitively we do. Sergio & Françoise; we'll be back!

We stayed for three nights recently as we were visiting relatives in Paarl. What a find! This B & B is so well located and has great views. of the mountains. Our room was really big and comfortable and our hosts very hospitable. The breakfast is truly amazing and a real great start to the day. The best part was that we found the prices to be great value.

We have been lucky enough to stay at Jacaranda a couple of times in the last few years and were so impressed by the beautiful rooms, attention to detail and marvellous breakfast! Our hosts were so welcoming and informative, offering excellent suggestions as to what to visit. The area has so many excellent vineyards and the views are stunning. We would highly recommend!
