Have stayed here once back in 2007 and now I come back again after 4 years !! Its still the same old bungalow converted into a hotel. Rooms are very spacious and cosy, you might find the bathrooms also very different, but beware; this hotel is old style !! You will find everything here very ancient, if I may use the word. No DVD players, ipod docks, satellite TV. In room dining is rare !! Restaurant is closed on Sunday !! There are very few staff, so you will probably be carrying your luggage up to your room !!
The staff is very friendly and good but are of little help, because, they most often than not, they dont have the means to help !!
If you're looking for some relaxation and want to travel back in time, then this is the place to be else choose a more modern hotel !! but the wi-fi here is great !!

Warm, welcoming and inviting - the hotel veranda and rooms in the Manor house are truly lovely. Elegant and timeless. A wonderful dining experience in the restaurant, too. The vegetarian Quiche with salad is excellent and the pork was also done to perfection. Service a little bit slow, but very kind.

Valentines Day was extra special and romantic for us when we stayed at the Pontac Manor. Set in beautiful gardens, with easy access to all the vineyards of the wine region, this lovingly restored estate provided us with classy and comfortable accomodations, attentive staff and delicious food. We couldn't have asked for anything better and I highly recommend the Pontac Manor.
