We booked in for four days and had the most fantastic, relaxing time there. Chris and his staff are brilliant and the whole place has a great vibe. I would recommend Afton Grove to anyone, who wants a trouble free stay in well appointed rooms, fantastic breakfasts and in a peaceful surrounding.

My fiancee and I stayed at Afton Grove over Christmas just before our wedding.
The service was OUTSTANDING. Chris, Louise and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs - including finding a yoga instructor for pre-wedding zen workouts.
Afton Grove is charming. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. Breakfast is tasty and the pool relaxing.

My Mum and I stayed at Afton Grove for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year.
Before leaving I read the reviews on the site so was expecting a wonderful stay but it was even better than expected.
Chris and Louise (the hosts) are extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing seems too much trouble for them or their staff to help with.
The rooms are furnished to a high standard and filled with all the essentials a traveller needs but with other thoughtful touches such as a torch, umbrella and adaptor.
Was wonderful to wake up in the morning to nothing but birds singing and see beautiful grounds with the sea only minutes away. In the strong heat, the pool is very welcome and Chris and Louise offer traditional braiis at certain times, sadly we didnt get to try this but if its as good as the breakfasts then you are in for a treat.
I would highly recommend Afton to any adult visiting this stunning area of South Africa, regardless of who you are with.
Another tip is Noordhoek Farm Village, only 5 minutes down the road and has 2 amazing restaurants, a pub and fantastic deli/farm shop.
