Well located and convenient, but a bit away from the Kysna Waterfront. Rooms look a bit tired and bedrooms are quite small, making it difficult to unpack/pack luggage. Parking space was very tight for our 8-seater van so we had to park it quite a bit away from our chalet. Good value, but that's really all!

A fab place to stay and so central to everything.
Bedrooms spotless and very comfy.
Superb views and a super well fitted kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals.

We stayed for a mid-week with our 8-year old daughter. The chalets are lovely, the service was wonderful, the staff was friendly and very helpful and we felt safe and secure at all times!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely recommend Knysna River Club to our friends.

We stayed 2 nights in a one-bed lagoon front chalet with our one-year-old son in April 2011.

We were very impressed with the size of the chalet and it was very well appointed. We made use of the kitchen and braai facilities and liked the lagoon-side location. We were initially worried about security as there is a public path directly in front of the chalet alongside the lagoon. However there is a security person stationed at this point 24hrs and a laser perimeter overnight. An in room safe is also available.

We used the path ourselves on a number of occasions to walk to town, thessen island or to the local fresh food store for groceries.

The chalet itself is not new, is wood paneled throughout and has older fixtures. It is however great value, a good size and space for family holidays on the knysna lagoon.
