My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in November 2010. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home and quickly realised that we were in for a very special stay.
The guest house is in an area called Constantia which really is beautiful. It is a safe, quiet, upmarket neighbourhood with lovely scenery and great wineries. It's about a 20 minute drive into the centre of Cape Town but if you don't mind not being central and can hire a car or take a cab (we did both) then this place is a must.

The house and grounds are stunning, very well kept, clean, welcoming and with lovely rooms. There is a lovely pool and an area to sit outside by the pool and have breakfast
Jako is the manager of Summit Place and he really could not have done more to help us and made our stay an absolute joy. He recommended day trips (even calling to make sure we had arrived places safely!), car hire companies, restaurants etc and just made sure we made the best of our time in Cape Town. We managed to do everything we wanted to with the help of Jako, and also the other wonderful staff, including Tendi who helps Jako with the running of the house and provides an equally first class service.

There are also 2 adorable little dogs, Jackson and Tramp, who do not go into the house or the rooms, but sometimes wait patiently by your door, greeting you in the morning and who are always excited to see you when you return in the evening. So very cute!

There is also a computer for guests to use with access to the internet. This is in the beautiful large lounge which you can relax in after a day out and about.

We are so pleased we found this guesthouse. I will be returning to Cape Town with my Partner in the future as I fell in love with the city and without a doubt we will stay at Summit Place. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
