“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2011

I dont normally write reviews but this one deserves it! The place feels like home. The people are warm, friendly and extremely nice. It was my first trip to Cape Town, and the hosts helped discover the beautiful city of CApe Town. We went for 3 days and have seen lots and lots of places. Thank you guys! Will definately come back again very soon. Will recommend to friends as well! Had a really nice stay!

“peaceful and relaxing place just outside cape town”

We stayed at Elements for 5 nights and we did have a great time there. Everything went smoothly, from the booking of the accommodation, to the arrival late in the evening and also the booking of a massage – done by a lady from the neighbourhood who comes by the lodge for the massage.

The neighbourhood is safe, it’s very close to the beach, there’s a shopping mall and a movie theatre nearby and lots of restaurant choices as well.

All in all, a relaxing place just outside Cape Town with an incredible view on the table mountain!

“Very nice place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

We've spend the two last days of our holiday at elements in Table View. It's a very nice place with all you need for a relaxed stay. I really appreciated the hospitality of the owners. Everything is well organised, a lot of information on the area, magazines for reading, internet... nice garden. Very nice appartment!
PERFECT.

“Elements”

The Elements is situated in a nice and quite neighbourhood close to the Blauwberg Beach (great for Kite-Surfers and those who like to watch them). Shopping and dining possibilities are also available in the surrounding area. The hosts have been great and really helpful with all the little things you need help with. During the time we stayed at the Elements, the owners had been on holidays and so some of their friends looked after the place during their own holidays.
The rooms are spacious and clean (we stayed in one of the suites) and are equipped with all the basics you need for self-catering. We also enjoyed the nice garden but did not make use of the pool since it was still chilly at the time of year we were there.

“Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Cape Town. We loved Elements!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2010

We have a special place in our hearts for Elements! Our hosts, Esther and Remo were magnificent in making us feel at home and went beyond our expectations in accommodating our needs. We couldn't have wished for better hosts for our stay :o)

Elements has four self contained apartments, two dorm rooms, plenty of parking, swimming pool, BBQ area, TV room, full kitchen and Tequila the dog. It’s located close to a few supermarkets, a shopping mall, cinema and of course, the beach. The only thing is that you really do need to have a car. Without one, getting around by yourself is very inconvenient; Cape Town does not have a great public transport system.

Esther and Remo have been in Cape Town for seven years and have built up a plethora of local knowledge. They were always the first ones with whom we would ask for recommendations on activities, tours and restaurants and we were never once disappointed!

Bloubergstrand beach is a short drive away and the ‘place to be’ for kite surfers and windsurfers. It has an amazing view across to Table Mountain that changes on a daily basis. Being beach-walkers, we preferred the beach at Big Bay. It’s flat and you can walk for miles and then have a coffee or bite to eat at the Big Bay mall complex.

The City Bowl is about a thirty minute drive away, that is only when you travel outside of the peak traffic hours. Avoid the morning and afternoon traffic as much as you can when you try to go into town. Otherwise from Elements, it was very easy to navigate to and from all the major attractions of Cape Town; Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens and so on.

We had the most amazing time in Cape Town and hope to be able to visit Elements again soon!
