I stayed at twentytwo for the first time last week and I can definitely say it will be the first of many trips to this guest house!
Dominic and Allan are the perfect hosts and have created a beautiful, thoughtful and incredibly welcoming home for their guests.
I travel frequently for work and therefore pick up on small details that can make or break the experience and I can honestly say- they have thought of EVERYTHING! Even down to making sure all plug sockets already have international adaptors, the high end products in the indulgent bathrooms and the great selection of the finest South African wine!
The rooms and communal areas are classy, modern, comfortable and beautifully decorated with spectacular views from the balconies of the magnificent natural beauty of Cape Town.
The garden and pool are wonderful (the outside shower is great!).
After about 30 seconds, I felt like Dom and Allan are old friends- so much fun to be with and they also give the best recommendations for eating out and sightseeing!
I cannot wait for my next trip to twentytwo! I stayed in Room 2 and 3 and both are sensational in their own unique way.

I've never enjoyed a stay at a B&B more. The view was gorgeous. The room was cozy. The details throughout the room and the B&B were all so spot on. From having breakfast outside, to New Year's cocktails by the pool to the interior design. But really, the owners make this place what it is. Just incredibly thoughtful and kind.

Very tastefull design house, rooms and garden with all the comforts one could wish for. But the main reason for a fantastic stay is the hospitality of the owners. And their sense of humour. Definitely a place to return to.

In September 2010 I stayed in Twentytwo for 3 nights. With my most recent trip to South Africa I wanted to book New Years Eve and the first of January, but - of course - they were fully booked. Instead of skipping their location we changed our itinerary of the trip and ended with a 2 night stay in Twentytwo with Dominic and Allan as the perfect hosts! And it was the best ending of our beautiful trip. Those guys know exactly what the word hostmanship means! They invented it I guess. From opening the gate on our arrival - it was like coming home and so very very good to see them again. It's not one thing in particular but it's everything: location, design of the interior, those guys, the 2 girls who help them, their advise in restaurants, etc. But most of it: the fun they have in running a beautiful guesthouse in one of the best cities of the world. Counting down the days and weeks to go back soon again. Within 1,5 years this time.... There was too much time in between September 2010 and this trip. If you ever go to Cape Town, please book their guesthouse, it's a stay to remember!!!!
