Superbly friendly welcome by Sonja and Jade from Four Rosmead, which is exactly what was needed after coming off a long flight. We were recommended activities, and our restaurant and taxi were kindly booked for us.

The guest house as a building is absolutely stunning, very large and beautifully decorated and feels extremely safe.

Very laid back feel, honesty bar, comfortable and clean rooms, and a great location to walk into the city to wander around the markets.

We researched Four Rosmead via Trip Advisor and were pleased with our choice, we’ll be back for sure.

I can only concur with all the reviews; Four Rosmead sets a standard which others should aspire to. We began our visit to SA here, and had superb treatment from start to finish. The daily routine of the breakfast time enquiry about the day's itinerary seems unusual at first, but merely indicates that the staff want you to enjoy every aspect of your stay in Cape Town, not just the facilities at Four Rosmead. Everything which you need is done for you, and more.

The rooms are very comfortble, with all you need; well equipped bathrooms; all spotlessly clean.

I don't think we could ask for any improvements.

We were a party of four and stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Very modern, not my particular taste, but very nicely done. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruits and juices, with rolls and jams. They cooked to order. Service was friendly and efficient. It was in a residential neighborhood with a wonderful view of Table Mtn. We walked downtown, it was mostly downhill, easy. Luckily we found a taxi for the trip back uphill. A wonderful gentleman from Zimbabwe was in Cape town with his wife for work. They send money back to support the four kids in Zimbabwe. He gave us his cell # so anytime we needed a taxi, we could call him. When we asked the staff at Rosemead to call him for us, she asked how much he was charging us. When we told her, she said that was a good price, he was not ripping us off. We all thought her concern was very nice. Great place to stay, very "homey".
