We were a party of four and stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Very modern, not my particular taste, but very nicely done. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruits and juices, with rolls and jams. They cooked to order. Service was friendly and efficient. It was in a residential neighborhood with a wonderful view of Table Mtn. We walked downtown, it was mostly downhill, easy. Luckily we found a taxi for the trip back uphill. A wonderful gentleman from Zimbabwe was in Cape town with his wife for work. They send money back to support the four kids in Zimbabwe. He gave us his cell # so anytime we needed a taxi, we could call him. When we asked the staff at Rosemead to call him for us, she asked how much he was charging us. When we told her, she said that was a good price, he was not ripping us off. We all thought her concern was very nice. Great place to stay, very "homey".

We just got back from two weeks in South Africa, which included four fabulous days at Four Rosmead. I've tried hard to think of how our stay could have been better, and can't think of a single thing. From our very first inquiry, we received stellar customer service, including helpful recommendations via email for restaurants and possible tours. We had a unique Jazz Safari tour, which included an in-home performance and dinner in one of Cape Town's townships. And we thoroughly enjoyed all-day tours to Cape May/Cape of Good Hope and the Winelands. I can't say enough about the personal service provided by Nadine before and during our stay. Other hotels should learn from her on how to treat their guests. And, on our final day, we got to meet David, the owner. What impressed me the most was his passion and pride for the property and his interest in finding out what we didn't like about our stay, so he and the staff could learn and keep improving. Unfortunatley we couldn't provide any help in this area, since there was nothing we didn't like. The only thing I would say is if you want the hustle and bustle of the Waterfront this not be your cup of tea. But for an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, comfortable and pampered stay, nothing in Cape Town can touch Four Rosmead.

We stayed 4 days at the end of our trip and were very impressed by the helpful
management team-recommendations and bookings made our stay more enjoyable.
Our rooms were comfortable and well serviced.
The breakfasts were excellent .
The pool was great to come back to after sightseeing .
We were well looked after on the day of our departure - our rooms were
needed for new guests but we could still chill out swim and drink tea etc.

Four Rosmead is at the top of its game as a great small boutique hotel. We loved the relaxed style of the place. The room was large and nicely furnished with all the extras we needed. The public areas are cool, relaxing and very homely. Superb breakfasts. Sonja and Nadine in particular provided great personal service and were intent on ensuring we had the best possible stay - great first hand restaurant recommendations. Definitely one to recommend.
