This guest house is well situated for visits to Table Mountain, V and A waterfront and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens -all just a short drive away.The staff are very helpful and rely on old- fashioned courtesy which complements the place's traditional ambience. Universal plugs in the room proved useful.There is a delightful pool in the sunny courtyard.

We had a wonderful time at Welgelegen. The minute we walked in, we were provided with first class service from each and every staff member. The rooms were immaculate, breakfasts so delicious. Cookies were so scrumptious that we could not stop snacking. The location could not be better. You can see the Table Mountain from this guesthouse. Anine, Sam, the kitchen staff all made us feel so comfortable. This became like home and we cannot wait to go back...

You don't get this level of service in a brand hotel. From start to finish every single member of staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. The location is perfect, the rooms lovely, the breakfasts wonderful. I'd go back again and again...

Fantastic stay. Table Mountain from the balcony, so close we could almost touch it. Wonderful people, Fiona and her staff were very helpful and really made us welcome, booking our trips to the summit and to Robben Island, and pointing us to some really nice restaurants for our evening meals.

Hope to return one day.
