A few years ago, I stayed at tthis hotel. My accomodation was paid for by the company I had just started working for. There were Chinese tourists who were prepared to pay more than my company had agreed to pay (even though there was a signed contract). I was asked to leave the Sir Francis by the end of the day to allow the Chinese customers to get my room. When I got back from work at the end of the day, my possessions had been thrown into a binbag and thrown into a dirty bath tub. Because I was supposed to be staying there for a month, I had a prayer lamp in my room as well. It was thrown into the bin bag with my clothes and groceries. The other girls staying at the hotel with me (there were 6 of us who had been put up in the hotel) were kicked out the next day. It was humiliating and one of the worst experiences of my life! Clearly these people are driven by money and rendering a good service is not a priority for them. They should be ashamed of themselves.
