The service was good the staff very helpful and friendly. However the location was not good being alone traveler and a lady on her own. Would have liked an outside area to sit and have a coffee. the location was central to Cape Town but not very safe after dark no where you could walk to as everything closed in the Mall at 6 00pm.
The hotel bar and dinning room where in the basement which made eating very dreary, there was no atmosphere what so ever.
My room was a double and size wise very good. it was however very scruffy and noisy as it looked out on to Cape Town train station also a very busy main road.The bathroom was not dirty but very old and needed a revamp. I would not stay here again . The only good point was the very nice staff.

Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

This hotel was way below par. The toilets were out of order, the room had not been cleaned in days, the staff were rude and unfriendly, etc. The hotel needs to be renovated an upgraded. My stay here was unpleasant and I would suggest that visitors look to other hotesl in the Cape Town CBD, eg. The Towhouse, etc.

wasnt sure what to expect as ive never been to capetown before so was surprised on arrival. i neednt have worried, everything was perfect for my stay, the staff were more than happy to help with everything, very friendly, the hotel is in a great location and the rooms are nice.everything about the hotel put me at ease and i couldnt say anything bad about the place...i will be coming back again!
