The Commodore Hotel Location is amazing. It is walking distance to the waterfront so we could be creative with the dinners and shopping during the evenings. Candice at the front desk was helpful and kind, helping us get checked in explaining about the tasty buffet breakfast and connecting us with the travel desk.

Pia at the Travel desk at the Commodore Hotel had an outstanding employee. She helped us arrange this day trips to Kirstenbosh Gardens, Robbin Island and the Aqarium. He called a cab for us and explained our situation and we were well taken care of.

We enjoyed the pool, workout room and lobby during our down time.

A delightful hotel with very friendly staff. It is conveniently situated for the V&A Waterfront and Tourist Buses.

Centrally located, clean, EXCELLENT breakfast buffet and very helpful service. Plus, free internet. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Capetown. Enjoy!

The second day I was there, I decided to treat myself to a pedicure in their spa (don't waste your money)..and as I returned to my room, a housekeeper was coming out. As this was mid-day, I was suspicious and went in to check my valuables. Sure enough, most of my money was gone.
I reported this to the hotel manager, and supposedly an investigation took place. They denied that their staff had anything to do with this, and that I should have had everything locked in the safe.
The hotel room was very small.I kept the cooler on 24 hours a day, but it was too hot to sleep.
