We mainly just slept and it was fine, but not a place for honeymooners. A bit expensive for what it is. The staff is really nice though.
Pros:
Very nice staff, you can't say anything bad about them, very sweet, from the manager to the cleaners
Location is very good, close to table mountain and waterfront and to the main roads to go south, north and inland.
The butcher grill restaurant is good.
Comfy bed, we slept well every night.
Freshly cut fruits at breakfast was a nice healthy thing.
Cons:
looking at the reviews I was a bit concerned but when you see 4 stars you expect a 4 stars standards and unfortunately this hotel isn't. The bed was comfy but the room was a bit old and we had a huge crack facing the bed that we saw every morning waking up. The tv channel choice is very limited and you have the same movies all week, not that you go to watch movies but when you just want to chill it's very annoying and only CNN for news. The bathroom is basic.
Internet is not free and is poor quality, for a 4 star you would expect free wifi at least.
The parking is also not free for clients !? I still don't get it...60 rand a night...I mean it's better than outside but come on for hotel customers ?
The breakfast is good but after 3 days you don't wanna eat there anymore, always the same stuff and quite limited again for the 4 stars standards.
The room pictures on the net are a bit misleading, they told us we had table mountain view....we had the mini hill 3 trees and half view...
The pool is more like a jackuzy size so don't think you can swim.
