I visited Cape Town for business for a few days. Although I normally stay at the Radisson Blu, this was a great choice. Although it is near the main freeway into town from the airport, the hotel has excellent soundproofing so I had no traffic noise. The facilities are fantastic. On the 19th floor is a small (12.5m-ish, 2 lane wide) indoor swimming pool, plus spa, plus sauna. If you come, you must bring your bathers and have a swim since the views are incredible over the busy port and harbour. The same view continues in the sauna, with floor to ceiling windows on making up 2 of the 4 walls of the sauna. I only had breakfast but it catered for all nationalities (english, continental, asian breakfast foods in the buffet)
- rooms: the standard rooms were large and well equipped including a coffee machine (from memory, a nespresso or equivalent). The rooms were well fitted, good quality tiles/taps/large bath and bath products. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and lived up to their "dream sleep" title. More modern and international than the Radisson Blu (although the Radisson Blu in Cape Town does have exceptional views from the breakfast / bar area over the water).
-Service: can be a bit of a worry but not here - true 5 star service. We also organised a car through the hotel. It came with a good driver, was a Mercedes C-class with leather interior - looked brand new and the driver did drive safely and was courteous. It also came with fresh sparkling water which was a nice touch.
