The owners are quite friendly and they try to help their guests in every way. Breakfast buffet is nice,including several options and available from early morning till noon. Additionally you can use the kitchen in case you'd like to prepare something by yourself or have tea/coffee at anytime.There is also a shared fridge where each room has its own part. There is one small common balcony with a nice view of city and Table mountain. Depending on the room,several things like the view,size,balcony..etc differs so check this while booking. Rooms are basic but clean.Fan,hairdryer,towels are provided. There is a tourist sightseeing bus stop closer (10 min walk) but only goes one direction.
I found the location a bit far from Waterfront/center by walking (20 min) and the walk is not on a very nice route. There is no public transport. It is also placed at a high spot,which is good for the view but means also a steep street if you walk back. (Taxi from Waterfront costs about 50-60 Rand) It is like a big house where each room is occupied by another guest,therefore sometimes in the mornings it can be a bit noisy E.g: when others having breakfast. TV channels were not showing clearly and had very limited channels anyway. Wireless connection was not very good and only available in a limited area.

Excellent room with a beautiful view over Cape Town. It is situated in the Bo Kaap and that is the nicest area of Cape Town.

Stayed in the room with private balcony next to breakfast room;view fantastic, breakfast great( with fresh fruit,pastries added to the standard),and can enjoy on own balcony, lovely pastries and coffee available freely,peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.
Balcony only divided with partition from breakfast area,so can be a bit awkward with other guests next to you.Area feels safe and very close to other sights.Mostly German guests. Had a great time!The apple pecan danishes will be remembered!!!

Katrin is a superb hostess, the room spotless, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast room has an amazing view of Cape Town waterfront and is very central.
