“Stylish modern boutique hotel with personal service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Villa Zest is a stylish modern boutique hotel situated in the safe area of Green Point (near the huge World Cup soccer stadium) just 15 minutes stroll from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The bedrooms are large and airy and the public spaces open plan and flooded with light. There is a small garden at the back of the property with loungers and a swimming pool which offered us a welcome respite from the heat in the afternoon.
The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were on hand to offer a cooked meal if desired.
The big plus with Villa Zest is the personal service of Michelle Cronje and her team (a special thank you to Illana Graff, the General Manager). From the moment that I made the reservation for our 3 night stay, Michelle was in constant and prompt email contact with me, offering to arrange restaurant bookings, a Township Tour and a mountain biking trip. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
It doesn't get much better than this.

“Best Place to Stay in Cape Town!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We arrived a day late to cape town due to flight issues and were greeted by a Villa Zest representive at the airport, Mr Youssef a wonderful gentlemen who gave us the insight into this beautiful city. This was our first time travelling to South Africa and Youssef gave us fantastic tips on what to do on our holiday.

Know to villa Zest all I can stay is that we had had a great stay at Villa Zest! The staff are amazing and really went the extra mile. The breakfast was amazing, we had a room at the garden/pool area that was very nice. The location of this hotel is fantastic as you can walk to the V&A waterfront and also many restaurants.

Overall very impressed with Villa Zest and would recomend it to all our family and freinds.

“Excellent Location, Friendly Staff, Relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

Villa Zest is a small boutique hotel near the V&A waterfront in Cape Town, ZA. It is very trendy and modern, exceptionally clean with very friendly staff.

We stayed here January 2012 on a tour of South Africa and were VERY pleased with the service and rooms. We would recommend this to family and friends as a great hotel especially for the price.

Pros:
Really close to V&A waterfront (10-15min easy walk)
Really clean
Very helpful and polite staff
Great value for the money
Exceptionally quiet
Wonderful breakfast included
Free parking
Free WiFi
Nice pool

Cons:
Beware of Google maps, it places this hotel in the wrong location. Be sure to double check your directions.
The lowest room class can tend to be a bit small for you and all of your luggage, consider the higher room classes if available and within budget
For us it was a bit quiet, you feel almost as if you have the whole hotel to yourself. This is great for relaxing. Just thought I would note it as some folks may want a busier atmosphere.

Tips:
There are a few above (regarding room), other than that the Cape of Good Hope self drive is a must along with table mountain. Also we found out after we left that they have a cheetah rescue at a winery (called SPAR?), might be worth checking out. Also, if you are into this, the white shark cage diving is a great day trip.

Room Tip: Pool rooms are really nice but can be small if you have a lot of luggage, consider a room class upgr...

“Exceeds expectations, great location. Amazing attention to detail.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

This small boutique hotel is a true gem of a find. With only 7 or 8 rooms, they great you as a person, not the person in room number 347. Attention to detail, immaculate rooms, AMAZING location. The internet was a touch unreliable, but with so much to do in the city, we didn't find ourselves in the room much. The salt water pool was a nice touch. Michelle and the staff were wonderful.
