“Fantastic place to stay in a fantastic city”

All the Staff we encountered were excellent, very helpful and friendly, they even arranged the airport transfer(R395 each way) it was a first class service. The hotel are happy to organise trips for you that leave direct from the front door which were not only great value but were very well organised; for people who don't want to hire a car. I would also recommend the open deck blue tour bus.

The Apartment and surrounding grounds including the 2 swimming pool areas were spotless.I would also like to complement the housekeeping staff. Our Apartment had full kitchen including tea & coffee kettle making facilities, but we only used the kettle and iron once.

The Apartments are located in a fantastic location & you also have the use of the Bay Hotel Facilities located on the main strip, the Sunday Sundowner here is not to be missed. All the restaurants on the strip are fantastic but our favourite was Blues, We walked to the Victoria Waterfront which is 6 miles from the Apartment, we walked along beach road,(2 hours including stops for photos and drinks at the Winchester Mansions which I would recommend visiting for lunch and a drink) the views are stunning and we felt very safe, we also walked from the Apartment to the Table Mounting cable car (1hour20) It is all up hill all the way but the views were spectacular and it was well worth the effort. I would recommend going to Cafe Africa in Long Street for great African food and great entertainment, on the subject of Long Street we went twice at night and we did not encounter any problems at all! Its just like London Soho on a Saturday night! You get a taxi back to the apartment at any time for between R70 & R100.

We loved Cape Town and the Cape area, the scenery is spectacular, the wine farms are amazing and the people are so friendly, we will return.

Room Tip: Negitives: We stayed in Apartment 21 which is directly opposite Dizzies bar, their is a lot of nois...

“Excellent Value Accommodation in an ideal loaction”

A small suite of studios converted from an old house over looking playing fields towrads to beach at Camps Bay. The accommodation is 3 star and taht is about right but it offers an ideal base with a small pool, bbq facilities and only a few hundred yards walking distance from all that Camps bay has to offer. Very helpful and friendly staff. Entrance into the 'Sandy B' Bay Hotel pool and facilities is included as part of the deal.

Room Tip: Sudios 1 or 2 are the largest, have the best views but do cost a little more.

“Mostly excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Our flat had a balcony with lovely views across the bay and was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful but ubobtrusive. The one drawback was Primi Piatti, the linked cafe where breakfast was to be taken. We went there the first day but didn't go back. High steps without a handrail were bad news if you have a mobility problem, there was loud background music and a strange approach to cleaning wineglasses. But we had a kitchen in our flat and were happy to make our own breakfast, with supplies from the supermarket just across the road.

Stayed at CBR for our wedding night & a few days prior. The staff prepared a special romantic turndown service at my request, and also arranged for an amazing dinner at their sister organization, Camps Bay Retreat -- free champagne/side dish/dessert in honor of our marriage. Will be back very soon
