My family and I visited Sun City on more than one occasion when I was a child, it was awesome. I now live in Dubai and a lot of the resorts here remind me of my times at the Lost City. However, the staff and service in Dubai is of excellence and everything is clean and run to perfection. Obviously Sun City may need a little face lift - but it sounds like the staff are the problem - not only their attitude and service but clearly from my friends who visited there recently the staff barely speak English or understand it, they seem tired and badly trained - there is no proactive response only excuses. So disappointing. And let's please not blame this on apartheid or look for excuses in 'previously disadvantaged' people. In Dubai the Indian, Pakistani and Filipino people in who take over the service industry come from real poor and sometimes war torn regions where English is not big like it is in SA - but never never never has anyone been rude and unhelpful - maybe a little ignorant and shy but that's it. C'MON SOUTH AFRICA - CATCH UP WITH THE TIMES - MAKE US PROUD!!!
