We spent a week-end at Pine Lake - too short! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the units are lovely. With outside braais on the patio overlooking the lake, its a great place to relax and unwind. There is also an inside fireplace for colder winter nights and they will deliver wood to your unit if pre-ordered.

They were paving the roads when we were there and this will further enhance the property.

The Numbi Gate for Kruger Park is not too far away and makes day drives in the south of the park feasible.

All in all, a great place.

This is our first time at Pine Lake Lifestyle Restort. The venue is stunning - looks over Longmere Dam and is very tranquil. Around the chalets there are well kept manicured lawns perfect for leisurely walks.
The chalets are incedibly well equipped, with microwave, oven and stove, as well as a wide variety of cutlery and crockery.
Each chalet has three bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms. The main bedroom has a stunning view over the dam.
The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone greets you when they see you, and they're at your beck and call for anything you need.
Two downsides are that there is no Resturant on site, and the convenience store has vey limited variety.

Lots of potential...
• Loved the location on the lake
• Lots to do and see in the area

BUT the major drawbacks are:
• Unfriendly and untrained staff (including the management).
• Prices of food and drinks are not realistic and leaves one with the feeling of just having been ripped off.

Won't go back....

This place has a lot of potential, but right now I think that management is the biggest problem here.
The rooms are okay, just bear in mind that you will have no privacy at all in the family room, as the childrens bed are right next to yours.
The showers have mould on the walls. The shower floors feel slimy.
The towels have a real terrible smell. My 9 year old son's comment was 'try not to inhale
when using the towel so that you do not get the smell'
The dining area- breakfast average. The dinner menu did not sound appealing at all, so we did not even try eating there.
Management - very unfriendly. It seems as though they are trying to save as much money as possible, and really couldn't be bothered about their guests.
The location is okay, but if you would like some action, I would HIGHLY recommend Perry's Bridge in Hazyview
