This is a high quality small hotel. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The breakfasts were first class. The staff were very friendly and volunteered alot of local information upon arrival. The location is a couple of minutes walk from some great restaurants and a magnificent beach. Only minor complaint was the slight smell of damp in our room, but with a huge thatched roof it is not that surprising. Overall this hotel leaves you with a feeling of being made to feel welcome and at home.

We stayed here for two nights having driven from Cape Town. We pre booked on recommendation from TA and have to say the guest house surpassed expectation. Brigitte made us very welcome and gave good info on the local area. Our room was lovely, with a vaulted thatch roof and was generally well appointed. The service was impeccable and the 'honesty bar' was a good touch. Wilderness has a couple of good restaurants and we would recommend Girls restaurant. Palms is a stones throw from the sea and miles of very quiet white sand beaches. I cannot recommend Palms enough!

Ideal to spend a few days after a long trip trough South Africa. You can do many nice Excursions around the place for families or even couples.
Johann is a great manager of the hotel and he helps to fullfill all your possible wishes.

We stayed here for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. The room was lovely with its African theme and we had a nice balcony. The service was first class as was the breakfast,we sat out in the courtyard if it was nice and under the verander if not. The restaurants and the lovely beach were only a short stroll away and all the restaurants seemed to be of an equal quality by what the fellow guests said. We had a long walk in Wilderness forest by the river which was very relaxing. Wilderness is only a small place so two night were ample for us, but it was a very friendly and relaxing 2 night stay
