This is a residential complex with a most dubious person running 2 or 3 apartments as Waldorf Suites Sandton. Hold onto your wallet as you are likely to be ripped off.

Thanks to the Waldorf staff, I got my business done quickly. They have an endless list of suppliers that I used to source products for my tourism business.

The Waldorf's staff are great. They make the place. I'm a consultant staying in Johannesburg on contract for two months away from family and friends. When we arrived, they set up our PC's with 3G wireless cards & Skype so our cost of calls home is less than a local call cost. The Waldorf staff filled my evenings with things to do, to meeting other people and getting away over the weekends. I learned scuba diving through their training affiliates. On the weekends we get away to the coast at Sodwana where its warmer than Johannesburg. These pictures are taken in June, mid-winter. The Waldorf does everything to make you feel part of the family.

The security is brilliant with 24 hour guards. There are four restaurants to choose from across the road at the shopping centre, a hairdresser, travel agent, bakery, liquor store & so on. It's very convenient. They have a grocery delivery service, so there is very little personal administration to do which means you can get on with the work you came for. It really is a great place to stay.
