This lodge is absolutely fantastic, and is supremely comfortable. I decided to stay at Whistletree on route from Johannesburg to the Kruger National Park, and I was not disappointed.
Many of my family members reside in Pretoria, and it was perfectly located for me to visit everyone, and then hit the N4 to Nelspruit, and ultimately Kruger.
The rooms are meticulously decorated, and the beds allow for a perfectly relaxed nights sleep. I booked one of the larger suites which overlooked a Koppie, and was rewarded with a spacious, and sunny room with a charming view.
I absolutely adore Whistletree, and will definitely stay there again. The food is 7 star, and matches the impeccable service.
