“Romantic Get-away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

This was our fourth time to the quaint mining town and our second time at the Ghost City Inn. We stayed in the Miners Suite and it was incredible. We had our own sitting room which was such a nice addition. The breakfasts were delicious -- my favorite is the stuffed French toast, and Jackie's peanut butter cookies are to die for. The price is super reasonable and the views were gorgeous. We will definitely be back!

“Will be back with friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

Stayed 1 night at GCI w/ my wife in Miner's suite. Plan on coming back again with friends. Inn has the advantage of being right on Main street with shops and restaurants right next door. This can be a slight disadvantage. There is some street noise, especially in the Miner's suite since it faces the street. We did hear traffic in the morning. The advantage of being able to walk to shops and bars outweighs the limited traffic noise. Jackie was a great host and her breakfast (quiche, muffin, fruit bowl) was outstanding. We thought the $20 extra dollars for the suite was worth it. If stay there must go to Caduceus winery tasting room down the street. We drink alot of wine and the wine there, as well as Az Stronghold tasting room in Cottonwood and Page Springs winery was fantastic. I hate to say we were shocked but we were.

Room Tip: Miner's suite worth the extra $ but do hear some morning street noise

“Great little spot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

This is a great little historic B&B, well located on the main street. Our room was cozy and cute. We had the Northern room--decorated by our host, the Chief of Police--whose roots are from Michigan! There were moose everywhere. Our hosts were very pleasant and breakfast was delicious--stuffed French toast , sausage, fruit and yogurt. I would suggest a little more variety for those who do not have a sweet tooth early in the morning. My husband is diabetic, so it was not the best selection for him.

“Unusual Stay- Mining Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

Sorry kind of late review.... Stayed 1 nt in Nov 2008. Neat place on top of mountains, friendly owner. GREAT VIEWS. Aristic town with lot's of gallery's etc. You can put your car in neutral when leaving and glide for 5+ miles to the bottom of the mountain, done that a few times. If you're in Sedona, make a day trip or stay here for the night or one of the other places. Old mining town.

Room Tip: No elevators if you need them. Great vista views.

“Second visit just as fabulous as the first”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Our granddaughter wanted to go with us on our haunted travels, and we chose the GCI for her fifteenth birthday gift trip. Jackie met us with a gift for her and the warmest welcome with cookies (yummy homemade cookies) and drinks. We loved Jackie from our first visit, she is so great and warm and welcoming. She attends to every need and provides the BEST breakfasts. The rooms are so clean and comfortable and while not all are huge, certainly cozy and beautifully decorated. Beds are so comfortable and linens to sink into and plenty of towels. We spent a night with a lot of odd activity in the Miner's Suite and loved sharing the stories with our fellow breakfast patrons in the morning and Jackie shared some stories of her own. Breakfast is just like a family affair here, this place is just like a home away from home. We highly recommend The Ghost City Inn for short or long stays, you will be comfy.

Also, the town is just the coolest with lots of shopping, museums and resaurants. Not to be missed is the Haunted Hamburger, the best burger you have ever tasted and the check will surprise you. Also visit Quince for a great breakfast (huevos rancheros) or lunch or dinner.
