Loved staying here! It used to be an old hotel, buuut it is a fun experience to stay there. I have stayed at a lot of hotels, so this was fun and different to stay at. I went around Halloween time...and they had a coffin in the restaurant. A little weird for my taste, so I didn't stay there to eat. The staff was very friendly and was great to hear the history from them. I came into town in the dark and didn't see the place till morning. Watch out! It is on the side of a mountain. I knew I was going up high, but nothing like that. The road to get up the hotel itself is a one way road, so be careful when traveling along there. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were super clean. :)

Didn't bother staying at this hotel after trying to see a room before purchase. Desk person was very short with us immediately. Bought a couple of items in town but spent our time and money in Sedona instead.

Family owned hotel whose employees bend over backwards to help you. A little difficult to find the road up to the hotel, but once you know where to go up the hill, it's ok. Beautiful views from the top of the hill overlooking the verde valley and the town. The town itself has an interesting history as well as the hotel. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with the old fashioned touch. Was nice to have the bagels and pastries and coffee for breakfast and just sat outside in the beautiful sunshine to eat. The desk help love to visit with you. We did the ghost tour and found it interesting and they give you ghost hunting equipment to use. Since we were spending the night our guide said to keep the equipment to use during night if we so desired. We did and our emf detector did go off a couple of times during the night, but didn't "see" anything. We were on first floor. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. Waiter very attentive. I am looking forward to another stay there sometime.

Room tip: If you want the ghost experience request 3rd floor as it the more active floor.

I loved the Jerome Grand Hotel. The history is amazing and the staff bend over backwards to help you. This isn't a chain hotel and therefore not the expected 'little boxes'....it is like stepping back into another time. The decor/furniture was fascinating, the view astounding (we booked a balcony room). If you like ghost stories, stay on the third floor....if you want to avoid the people who love to ghost bust.....don't stay on the third floor! Simple.
Breakfast was simple and there is nowhere to sit. We sat outside in the sunshine on some little benches and enjoyed the view.
Basically, if you are used to the Hilton and love the stark hygenic interior of those types of hotels, this is not the place for you. If you are a history buff and love a good view this place is amazing!
PS the elevator itself is a piece of history

Room tip: If you like ghost hunting, stay on the third floor. Avoid it if you don't....not because of the ghosts....because of the ghost hunters :) Pay the extra money for the room with a view. It is astounding.
