We had a wonderful time at the Travelodge while on a business trip for 9 days, 8 nights. This is no ordinary Travelodge and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and hopefully will return there again on another business trip. It is at the top of a hill just as you are heading towards Miami, AZ. The view from the second floor was gorgeous with beautiful sunrises and sunsets of the desert and mountain range. Most impressive was the decor, the complementary breakfast, and it was immaculate. The rooms provided all the amenities like thick cushy towels, comfortable beds and plenty of soft pillows. A/C and heating system worked well. The rooms were well laid out with microwave and refrigerator, plenty of room on the bathroom vanity to place toiletries. Being on the second floor, there was an elevator which was quite convenient. There were brand new washers/dryers, fitness room and there was an atrium where you could sit at a table for eating, conversing or doing paperwork. It appeared the hotel had been recently remodeled and the parking lot was recently resurfaced. There are security cameras. Convenient to the Historic Downtown and all the antique stores in Miami. Restaurants and grocery stores are nearby for anything you might need. The Travelodge is in a great location. It is a wonderful place away from home. Compared to the other hotels/motels in town, there is no comparison. It is a hidden gem.

I have been staying at many of the hotels in Globe/Miami on buisness since 1998. My first reasons for switching to Travelodge is the reliable WiFi and cell phone service at that location. I quickly learned to appreciate the ample room space and layout for my business needs, as well as the in-room refrigerator and microwave oven. Also, the mattresses and linens are higher quality and newer than all other hotels where I have stayed. Housekeeping staff are always courteous and careful to work around whatever office space I have created, getting the room clean and refreshed without affecting my working arrangement. The adequate breakfast room is open at 5:00 AM on business days, which is a most welcome policy for business travelers on extended stays. Hotel and parking area security is substantial, which offers comfort to those of us with field equipment in our vehicles and rooms. So for me it turns out that although WiFi and cellular service is essential for competent buisness functioning, at the improved Travelodge I've found a more substantial suite of needs that are part of the hotel's routine accommodation. I have not switched hotels in the last several years nor do I intend to do so in future years to come.

We stayed here for 10 days during the time we were repainting the exterior of the building. Sheena and her husband Iqbal are some of the most accomadating people we have met. Their rooms were clean and comfortable and very large! They have a great concern for all of their guests and seemed to strive to make everyone very happy. They went out of their way to make sure we had an extra cot to sleep on. We would recommend that anyone stay there during their trip through Globe.

Have just returned to Canada from a great road trip covering several States and 22 motels and decided to write a few reviews of accommodations along the way. Travelodge Globe really stands out in our memories as one of the most convenient, being the first to offer laundry facilities which we desperately needed. We really appreciated the free internet which enabled us to contact family - we had avoided using our cell phone (out of country costs are prohibitive) - again, this was the first motel we'd found to offer this service, free. The desk folk were very friendly and professional, our room was clean (great to have a fridge to keep our travel drinks and snacks cool), and we wish we'd had time to use the exercise room. It was wonderfully quiet at night and we enjoyed a great breakfast before hitting the road again. It is sad that many folk only write a review when they're upset about something, but rarely when they have something positive to say. For us, it was "A good choice"!
