I came to Glendale for holiday festivities known as Glendale Glitters and noticed that the Gaslight Inn B&B had a recent re-opening. I decided to take a quick look inside and meet the owners. I had a short tour of the property and was immediately hooked on the B&B's interesting look. The rooms were very nice and there was smaller rooms downstairs and larger ones upstairs. I met the husband/wife owners, who were very friendly and they went out of their way to accomadate my requests, including assisting my party with parking. Parking was a little more difficult to find due to the activities downtown. We settled in and started our unwinding in the B&B's cozy Wine and Beer bar where a diverse group locals and visitors mingle. The staff was very nice and attentive to all their customers. There are nice options for dinner close to the B&B which included a great German place. We returned to the B&B after dinner and really enjoyed the live music, which inspired a little dancing by the audience and also provided a excellent beat for our upstairs room activities. All I have to say is, most reviews on this site no longer reflect the reality of the Gaslight Inn. Further planned additions to the property will really take it into the Excellent level. The planned upgraded patio areas and a full kitchen to support dinner and breakfast service will keep me coming back for sure!. I would suggest making the check in area a little more offical looking with maybe a old fashion counter area to complete the well thought out look. Thank you Teresa, Gary and Pete for the wonderful stay!.
