Really amazing place at a great price. Folksy but first class, Rancho Sonora is a marriage of the rustic and the elegant. They include a nice little breakfast with good coffee too. It's like being in one of the better places in Santa Fe or Sedona - at a fraction of the cost. The place is all good taste: nothing is obvious but the quality.

The purpose of my stay was to escape the cold temperatures and dreary skies of the Midwest, I was fortunate that the sun did shine during my visit. My room open to a magical courtyard filled with an assortment of plants that had the most beautiful smells....it is quiet ,peaceful with comfortable beds..the decor is so pretty. I toured the Greek Orthodox Monestery, which is another breathtaking spot in the middle of the desert..Highly recommend this little Inn to any weary traveller, as they will be quite surprised by this little gem...the staff is super friendly and go beyond expectations for anything you may need..

We stayed here on 12/5-6, for the 3rd time .. this visit we were in the Fernando/Evangeline suite, mainly because we wanted the full kitchen to do our own cooking .. all, as usual was wonderful. Linda is the perfect hostess, and does an outstanding job in making your stay so very comfortable ... went to the Greek Monastery down the road again, and it was a beautiful visit also .. thanks, Linda !!

Set among a lovely garden of cacti and waterfountains the courtyard is very peaceful with a romantic feel. We were very comfortable for our one night stay. The only down side for us was after a long journey to Rancho Sonora we then had to go back to Florence about 7 miles to find something to eat. we decided on a picnic in the courtyard which was lovely but we were rather to tired to enjoy it fully. we were entertained by the large toads catching bugs. Other residence told us that they were poisionous, the owner hadnt mentioned it which we thought she might. We had a basic self service breakfast.
