Cottonwood is a convenient location from which to explore the Sedona area as well as the Indian sites, scenic train, and the surprisingly unpretentious, historic, and arty town of Jerome. The Annabel Inn is on a small street, just off the main road a couple blocks from the historic center of Cottonwood.
Annabel and her staff are all genuine, interesting, open people. They made us feel special, not human ATMs like a Marriott Resort or such. They work hard to please. Breakfasts were great, towels were large, internet was fast. Coffee was flowing and strong, that's something I look for. Little treats were left on the bed. Its not the Ritz, but the service is just as good and the socializing, if you want it, is superior.
