“dont book your event or seminar at this place”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2010

The website looks nice but not so when you get there, we had to share the bathroom and house with the caretaker, the owner and caretaker were changing the prices for rooms we had set and said, " if I was running this seminar I would have only charged you $40 a night" in front of several of the attendees. Caretaker enter our house to use shower, bathroom and keep her food in refridgerator, she was a relative living behind the house in a trailer.
They were rude to leaders of seminar and promised so much and did not come through.
If I had not kept the emails back and forth it would have been a disaster. Came close to being disaster. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

“Cozy couples getaway or fun group gathering place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2008

Sorry to write this so late. We stayed there two years ago, Labor Day weekend for our anniversary. Its a nice place to stay since its really just two houses, with two bedrooms each so no loud neighbors. Its in a scenic part of arizona. The hosts are documentary film makers who decorated the bedrooms in the style of different places theyve documented. We stayed in the Kalahari room and had our own bathroom. Gretchen (I think) made a lovely breakfast similar to English breakfasts. There is a local rooster that might wake you up. :)

We were worried that it was closing shortly after our stay but I was contacted to write this from them saying they were still open so please give it a try.

  • Liked — How comfortable everything was and isolated but still between Sedona and Jerome
  • Disliked — Lack of near healthy food but its a western location so people expect steak.

“Page Springs B&B is Superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 April 2008

We stayed at the Page Springs Bed and Breakfast near Sedona, Arizona for 4 nights and 5 days. We loved it! We were getting married, and we wanted a more serene environment than the hustle and bustle of a tourist town, and the Page Springs B&B delivered tranquility and more. The B&B is quite close to Sedona, Jerome, and other local attractions...just not TOO close. We were greeted by one of the friendly owners, Andrew, and Ingrid, the wonderful woman who made our scrumptious breakfasts. The other owner, Connie, must have been working on their latest film when we arrived. There are two houses on the property. We stayed in the upper house in the Kalahari room which had a huge bathroom with a 2 person soaking tub, separate shower, candles, and various toiletries. Ingrid gave us a tour and made us feel extremely welcome and "at home". The place offers comfy robes, free long distance, a pass for the various parks (a $40 value), coupons for wine tasting at local vineyards, and wireless access.

Displayed in the house were lots and lots of brochures and maps for local tourist attractions and activities. The owners and staff can also help with reservations for various activities in the area. The house we stayed in was beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. Intriguing aspects of the place are the various photos and artifacts from all over the world. The owners, Connie and Andrew, are filmmakers, photographers, authors, etc. They are an absolutely fascinating couple! We wished we'd had more time to hang out with them! They even gave a bottle of champagne to us and the awesome couple we shared the house with who were celebrating their first anniversary.

Each day Ingrid made us fantastic breakfasts and was willing to respect our various dietary restrictions/likes/dislikes. And, she did the dishes and didn't want us to help. We were able to keep food and drinks in the refrigerator which was helpful and there was a microwave available. Sunday morning, Connie provided us with some homemade, delicious banana bread. I could go on and on with my compliments. When we left, Andrew and Ingrid even gave us hugs good-bye. We didn't want to leave! Page Springs Bed and Breakfast near Sedona, Arizona is an absolutely marvelous, peaceful, inspirational place to stay. Be sure to check out their website and make a reservation right away. We plan to return next year!

  • Liked — Everything - it was perfect! Really!
  • Disliked — The only bad thing would be it is so far away from our home!

“A wonderful time...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 April 2008

Wanted to book a last minute getaway near Sedona, with my fiancee....and Page Springs was fortunately available! A wonderful atmosphere, far above our expectations. Everything was immaculate, warm and inviting.....starting with Ingrid's smile and greeting when we drove in, and ending with Connie's hospitality and her skills in taking our pictures just before we left. We would highly recommend this B&B, and plan to come back very soon! Enjoy and thanks again, Connie & Ingrid! From Andy & Elita, Gilbert AZ.

“Beyond expectations”

My wife and I were looking for a quiet little getaway from the snow and ice of late March, South Dakota--and boy did we find it--and then some. The views are stunning, the tranquility is all-encompassing, and the hospitality is over-the-top. We were treated to delicious breakfasts, fascinating conversation, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. About 7 miles from Sedona, this was the perfect place to relax and appreciate the land, the mysteries, and the magic. The owners were attentive, but very sensitive to guests needs for space and solitude, too. The rooms are quite comfortable and the upper house, where we stayed, is very spacious and welcoming. Personally, I loved the indoor fireplace, all the lights on dimmers to be able to perfectly adjust the evening ambienceand the extensive library--including literature about many area attractions--available to all guests. Ingrid, our hostess, was a delight and made absolutely sure that we had everything we needed. We've stayed at many B&Bs and would have to rate Page Springs at the top of the list.
