The reason we stayed at this hotel was the convenience factor-three miles from my in-laws home- and they accepted my small dog ($15 per night fee). We went over the Christmas holiday and stayed here for four nights. We paid $76 per night for a king room. We would usually stay at a Hampton Inn for this type of hotel, but they don't take the dog. The bed was soft, the pillows were cheap-one pillow per person, and they were the long kind that is like an uncomfortable sponge, thankfully I had pillows in the car from home so I used them. The room itself is efficient. The bedroom has a dresser with a TV (old style box) and the drapes kept the room nice and dark to sleep in. The living room has a VERY hard, uncomfortable couch, a small chair, and another TV (again, old style box). They had Wifi that worked well in the room, and our cell phones worked well, too, from the hotel. The kitchenette was the best thing about this hotel. It had electric burners, knives and forks, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, microwave, and a refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious, but nothing elegant. Two sets of towels, which were fairly scratchy and definitely cheap. The grounds were well kept and the courtyard, pool, and jacuzzi looked very inviting. The breakfast room was nicely laid out, and the breakfast server did a good job with keeping everything stocked and clean. They had eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, waffle maker, hash browns, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Everything was very clean, and I would stay there again based on the convenience and good price. Next door is a breakfast/lunch restaurant called US Egg. It was very good, reasonably priced, and just a parking lot away.
