Very close to I-10 and about 15 minutes to Sky Harbor. That is if is not rush hour-be sure to allow for that.
Hotel is good value but could use some updates Undertsand that there may have been some since our visit. Rooms were clean. Interent was good and the printer in the "Business Center" was handy for printing boarding passes.
Staff were all plesant.
Many restaurants in the area and a short drive away. Shopping a short drive as well.

I tend to stay at this hotel on my business trips to Chandler mainly due to the value and close proximity to the 10 FWY. It is about a 15 min drive from the PHX airport. Hotel is in needed on some restoration. At least, they need to change the carpets and the drapery. I pay $65 for a room during summer times and about $95 in winter. includes the Hampton breakfast. The one near Chandler Mall is much better but typically $5 more.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for two days in June 2011, and this property more than exceeded our expectations. The great staff, especially Chuck and Lenore, the front desk folks, made us feel like we were getting 5-star service. Chuck and Lenore made us feel welcome and appreciated, plus they took the time to get to know us on a friendly level. The hot breakfast included meats, fresh fruit, eggs, cereals, juices, yogurt, - wow, what a great deal! I found a buy one night, get the next night free on the Hilton website, so we spent approx. $75 total for a two-night stay. Great pool and hot tub, wonderful location near the interestate (but quiet), and convenient to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing. You can even order room service from a toll-free number offsite. The best Hampton Inn I've ever visited.

Arrived at Hampton Inn Chandler at 1:45 PM with a confirmed reservation on a Friday. Was told by a cleaning crew person that the only person working at the front desk was out to lunch and to come back in 15 minutes. I returned 15 minutes later and front desk employee was there, talking on phone with what was obviously a personal call. I waited. and waited and waited. Finally, he hung up and I tried to check in. He told me that he couldn't rent a room because no one had yet entered the cleaning status into the computer, he didn't know if he had any available rooms or not. He saw my reservation in the computer but could not give me a room yet. He recommended coming back in 30 minutes... maybe. No guarantee. He said it might take longer.
I went up the street to La Quinta and got a great room immediately.

The desk staff and manager went out of their way to work with an outside reservation company to bypass restrictions on reservation changes and find us a better appointed, more comfortable room. We really appreciated their consideration and effort
