“All rooms are amazing...”

I love Eldorado Suites Hotel.... the name sounds like a hotel, but in reality this is a home away from home. My imagination says that this was formerly an apartment building for miners and bankers and old Wild West characters. The location couldn't be more perfect, and Bisbee itself is a truly magical place to visit.... one of those places that make you think you could live there, no wonder why it's such a popular little town.

I only wish Bisbee had even more restaurants, but Cafe Roca, Bisbee Brewing Company (so tiny I think it only holds about 8 people), and of course The Breakfast Club and Dots Diner are must-eats.

Take a short drive to Whitewater Draw Wildlife Refuge - you'll see thousands upon thousands of wild cranes, and the experience is straight out of BBC's Blue Planet. Ah, final thing: keep your eyes peeled for Mexican Parrots... very colorful, and amazing to see in the wild in the USA! Last thing: on your way out of Bisbee, just past Tombstone, there's a great little ghost town called Fairbanks - see it, hike around a bit, go to the river and the cemetery. Last but not least, go to Kartchner Caverns - one of the best caves on earth, and so well preserved that it's still a living cave.

“Great stay @ Eldorado Suites Hotel - Bisbee, AZ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed in Suite 1 on the first floor--with a living room and patio overlooking Brewery Gulch, full kitchen, quaint bath with a claw-foot tub, and comfy 4-poster queen bed. We did not rent the extra bedroom with queen bed. The hotel was converted from apartments and offers lots of space. With the bedroom at the back--we did not hear any night-time noise--but we stayed on a Monday. We parked our car and walked downtown to eat and browse the funky shops. The staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quirky much like the Bisbee residents! Ask and they offer either AAA or AARP discount. We'll be back!

“Had a great time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

This isn't the Ritz, but it fits in with the funkiness that is Bisbee. It was cute and clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. It does overlook Brewery Gulch, which, at least on the weekend we stayed, was really just grungy biker bars, not what I expected. But they were loud! (the staff warned us) so invest in ear plugs. Suites with bedroom on the back side are definitely quieter but we could still hear the "mad drummer" until early morning hours. I'd stay again.

“Highly Recommended”

This is absoluetly a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in Suite 5 which is on the second floor and had a wonderful view of Bisbee. I got up early and watched the sun rise. What a spectaular view. We took the option of paying a little extra for the second bedroom and it gave everybody a little extra privacy. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. I wish everywhere we went had such a wonderful staff. My 86 year old mother was ill the day before and with the cancellation policy 48 hours, we where having a problem making any reservations in the hotels in the area. When we talked to the owner, she stated that there would be no problems because she also had an elderly mother and that if we couldn't make it that she would not hold us to the cancellation policy. There are some wonderful little restaurants just a few minutes walk. I stayed in the front bedroom and the brewery just below did not bother me or our family at all.

Room Tip: Take a room on the second or third floor with the balcony. The views are spectacular.

“Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

We enjoyed our stay at Eldorado so much last year that we returned to it again this year. Had another great experience! Spacious, comfortable, clean, and very nice staff. We stayed on a busy weekend and we could hear music from the nearby bar very faintly. Other reviews have commented on bar noise but we don't think it's a problem and were not disturbed in any way.

Room Tip: 3rd floor views are excellent if you don't mind climbing stairs.
