“Bisbee's Best Kept Secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

This has got to be our #1 choice for Bisbee overnight accommodations. Location, location, location. In a quiet part of town, but very short walking distance to all that the downtown area offers. There are about 7 units in the hotel, which makes it very quiet. All units have fully equipped kitchens that include full-sized refrigerators, stove, oven, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans; not to mention air conditioners, heaters, window shutters. We have stayed in 3 units on separate occasions, and all are quite large with very comfortable beds and living room furniture. The accommodations are immaculately clean, and we have yet to see a bug, gnat, fly or mosquito. Manager Wendy is always a ray of sunshine willing to go that extra 110% to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable.

“Large rooms in a historical building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

We had a very large suite that was a bit faded but comfortable and clean. We couldn't believe how large it was, frankly -- large bedroom, living room, kitchen -- and wished we could have apartments that large at home. Right downstairs and all along the surrounding streets were many art galleries that were open late for the "Bisbee After 5" art walk that is held the second Saturday of each month (that was just luck, but next time we will make a point of coming the second Saturday of the month). Perhaps the only drawback of this was a few inebriated stragglers hanging out on the street outside our room late.

“Perfect Historic Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 May 2011

We enjoyed our stay in the immaculate, charming , sunny suite. Kitchen was included although we didn't use it. The location was within easy walking distance to everything. Wendy, the onsite manager, was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. Would definitely stay there again.

“Very Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 May 2011

We stayed in Suite 8 of the Canyon Rose Suites. Room was huge and full of light from the enormous windows with wood shutters and multiple skylights. Had a full sized kitchen with great concrete countertops and extra loft bedroom upstairs. We were just staying with our baby who slept in her pack 'n play, but could have comfortably fit a much larger family. There is a large lending library right inside the door and good wi-fi connection. Able to walk to most of Bisbee (except the Queen mine which we drove to only because it was across the highway). We parked in the lot just behind the Canyon Rose and were able to unpack the car and enter through a 2nd story entrance there and go right to our room. Only issue was managment is a little scarce, there's a phone in the lobby where you can leave a message we used to asked about a late check out time and never heard back, but the place is pretty small so we didn't really expect 24/7 service . I wasn't too excited about going to Bisbee and haven't seen any of the other hotels in the area to compare it to, but once we checked in I was sad we weren't staying longer to really relax and enjoy the place and maybe read a new book.

Room Tip: Suite 8 is huge!

“Excellent stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

Although we wished we could have stayed longer, we had only one night in Bisbee. Wendy was helpful in making the reservation over the phone and reserved 2 small rooms/suites. We are happy that we stayed here considering the prices of other places were a bit more expensive. After seeing the very nice larger suites, we might have been better off taking a 2-bed suite than the 2 one-bed suites. It appears that all rooms are on the 2nd (top) floor; 1st (ground) floor is daytime commercial.

The rooms at Canyon Rose were very clean. Wifi worked well. Parking (free) was no problem as there is a public lot behind the hotel. It is centrally located so no need to drive around the town. There was no outside noise that some commented on at other places - although there were no major events the Sat. evening that we were there.

We would certainly stay at Canyon Rose again.
