We stayed at this B&B for 2 days and i would not recommend it. It wasn't very clean, the rooms were small and not comfortable. Service was just okay. Wish i had stayed at the best western

Travelling with family in Alaska this summer, we had an emergency, could not get to Valdez that day and had to cancel our stay, that was booked long in advance. We called few times to cancel reservation and left messages, but got no answer. The owner responded to third call, was unpleasant and angry. Although we explained our situation, we were charged full price. So, it costs us double price to for the night we stayed in different place.

The room is small but clean as other people said. But the service is really bad. Let's say no service at all. The owner kept saying I am really sorry but never did anything to help. The internet is really slow. One example is that the internet suddenly stopped working, the owner again kept saying she could not do anything. We asked her to reset the router (by simply unplug and then reconnect); she refused and said she is very busy and does not have time to do that. We have had very bad services (other issues as well) for both two nights of our stay. No internet for most of our stay there. We ended up walking to the nearby hotel (Keystone Hotel) and they are kind enough to let us use the internet even we are not their customers.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Headhunter's Inn. The room was very clean, but small. It had a wonderful shower too. It's part of a building that has a Mexican restaurant and a beauty salon on the lower level and the B & B is above. This is all owned by the same people. Signage is not very good as to what to expect when you first enter. We too had to go into the restaurant to ask about our reservations. I was glad that I had read about that here before I had gone. But the people were all very friendly and helpful. The best part is the food in the restaurant was outstanding. Our breakfast we could order from there was part of the package and oh my goodness what a breakfast it was. It was huge! It was nice to order whatever we wanted and eat a breakfast by ourselves without having to eat with other people at the B & B. We also ate our dinner meals there and it was some of the best Mexican food we have had and the prices were very reasonable.
